Steam has added new updates to gifting and wishlists:
Gifting:
- Cross-region gifting to friend with price calculated at checkout based on friend's region
- Guest checkout now includes games
- Gifts to email
- No longer need to be friends to send gifts
- Can send digital gift card or game directly from someone's wishlist
Wishlists:
- Custom categories added
- Improved search
- Improved navigation
- Wishlisted games will show if they have a demo
- Can create unique shareable link for others to view your privated wishlist
- Link can be filtered to specific games

Based on the Doom launch figures, doesn't feel like there were enough fans that the ones remaining fathoming the situation matters. Put another way, the cuts now seem justified. The team was left to cook, they cooked, the audience didn't appear at numbers high enough to justify the salaries (the dlc yesterday hit a 13k peak on steam), and so it goes. It makes the MS choices decidedly rational.
