@peebuttnutter Depression. it’s funny cuz I’m sober and in the gym and eating healthy, everything, but if I don’t have that trance like dopamine state of something I’m deeply into, most days are an exhausting slog

@MjPatek @NameIsGladiator @negen_x @xwanyex I was raised catholic by parents who weren’t particularly religious. I read a lot, though, religious and skeptical. One parent became wildly evangelical and the other is indifferent. I’m mostly catholic in a cultural sense but I observe lent, holy days, fasts, etc.

This is what I mean when I say that a lot of Christian apologetics are embarrassingly bad. “The resurrection must be true, because the apostles were willing to die for it and nobody dies for a lie” is an argument that’s beneath thinking people.

I can agree with you on that as well. Most people do not understand religion, they only understand what they want to hear. I follow faith in Christ. Not religion
