"[modern] nationalism" being "a product of the French Revolution": (i) Is the claim that "modern nationalism is modern" being used to deny pre-modern nationalisms, such as that of the Roman Republic? (ii) Was 18th century Britain not a nation state prior to 1787 and 1789? (iii) In the Napoleonic/Regency period, multiple countries reinvented their national identities in tandem. Why use the French concept of "total mobilization" as a prototype rather than use several countries as a batch of exemplars? (iv) Was Britain not a nation state during the 19th century, because it accommodated regional identities more than France and didn't adopt "total mobilization" until WW1? (v) If nationalism is modern, how did the Scottish nobility justify ditching John Balliol in the early 14th century? (vi) In addition to logistical complexity, the 17th century Habsburg dynasty had to split their empire because the germans and spanish didn't want to be under the same rulers. Also, why did the Portuguese Restoration War happen?

Landlords should not be able to increase rent unless they are upgrading the property/apartment.

@BlackbirdPagan @wylfcen Energy is neither male nor female. It is when it is fused with matter that it gains male and female aspects. But celestial bodies, like many plants, have both. The sun, as provider of energy, has to have, otherwise there would be no dimorphism.

@MjolnirMag @wylfcen None of that changes the essential nature of the energies at play. Just as a daughter can take after her father, or a son after his mother it doesn't mean that the overarching Thing, isn't exactly what it is. This isn't about deities. It is about energy.
