I'm curious how many Illinois voters even knew how Madigan made his money off the backs of Illinoisans, they're outrageous property taxes and his law firm which specializes in getting property tax reductions.
When I tell people outside Illinois this is how our state is run, they are flabbergasted.

@Mklenko @MissinRoyko Rauner’s mistakes were poor messaging and failure to message at all. IMO during the budget impasse, he should have had a daily press conference at the capitol pointing out reasonable solutions vs the ridiculous demands of madigan. Eventually would have swung public opinion.

@Mklenko @realbosschicago Personally it’s pretty nuanced. Probably fill up once a month in the city and the rest outside the city when traveling. My estimate was based on 10k miles a year and filling up in the city.

This is coming from a governor that has raised the gas tax from $.19-$.48 has raised 53 other taxes and fees for a total of $7 billion. And he has the nerve to post gaslighting garbage like this and Illinois voters actually are stupid enough to vote for this asshole.
