So anyway one time (yesterday at 5 am) a tornado stopped by my house. Said it was "in the neighborhood" and wanted to say hello -- specifically to the chimney. (I'm fine, Luca is fine, all other damage to the house was minor. But goddamn, what a surreal experience.)

@WayHaughtElf Dude, it was followed by a MASSIVE fucking dust storm later in the afternoon. One of the weirdest days of my life. This is a pic looking out my front windows to the west as the dust approached.

@SprayTanApathy It got blown into our shared iron fence, broke it, legitimately exploded all over our yard, and then several VERY LARGE and heavy pieces kept going and absolutely wrecked a back panel of the fence, threw it 20 feet, and then the debris itself landed about 100 feet past the yard.

@SprayTanApathy It was wild, dude. My next door neighbor's front door exploded inward and the door frame detached from the wall. They're having to keep it closed by putting heavy furniture against it! Their swing set also destroyed itself all over our backyard and beyond.
