As one of her clients, one of the things I most respect about Cherie is her integrity. Here she is just saying that she's doing her best to exist in a reality that she's still wrapping her head around; and frankly, she hasn't had time. She's doing outstandingly.

I don’t know where to begin with this take. Obviously @MarkZinno just doesn’t know anything about horse racing. But if that’s the case, he should do some research and understand it better before saying “we shouldn’t allow horses that win the Derby to skip the Preakness.” That shows a complete lack of understanding of the racing industry on so many levels.

@Tinky47flat Just because someone can, doesn’t make it right. I’ve reduced my horse playing significantly. Just Derby and BC. No fun seeing my 15-1 pounded to 3-1. Like driftnets, they’ll take everything until there is no more to take.

Benter's computer driven approach to betting on horses was the genesis of the type of modeling that is used widely today in betting markets, and not just in racing. Interestingly, unlike CAWs, he didn't require any takeout edge (i.e. rebates) in Hong Kong in order to succeed, and eventually thrive.

My prayers are with the Spirit employees, contractors, and families navigating this painful uncertainty. The saver camera became the main remote camera when Golden Tempo came storming down the center of the track. I do a lot of studying the races, replays, track profiles, and projected pace. I try to prepare so much so that In the moment I can just work of what I "feel" is going to happen. Sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong. At the last second I shifted a camera out really wide, and called it my "Sha Tin Cam" I just wish there wasn't the person in neon in the back 😂😂

Oh dear. Cherie thinks Donna was the first woman to win a Triple Crown race. We’ll write that off to the excitement of the moment. And Donna is too classy to correct such an innocent mistake on camera. But how soon some forget Colonial Affair.
