Nathan Willett for Congress
Setting the Record Straight on ‘Come and Take It PAC’ Ad
Nehemiah 4:13-14
Liberty, Missouri - Nathan Willett, candidate for Congress in Missouri’s 6th District, today denounced a wave of false and misleading attack ads funded by a Texas-based dark money group and the political consultant class that is trying to buy this election with deception.
“Missourians deserve the truth, not political hit pieces from out-of-state & DC special interests,” Willett said.
Willett said he is deeply disappointed by the false claims attacking his character and record. He called on outside groups to stop the smear campaign and to be transparent with voters about who is paying for these ads and why.
“My name is Nathan not Nate. The lies DC political consultants and insiders are saying are complete falsehoods. They are scared of losing power to the grassroots and have spent over $300,000 in negative ads smearing my integrity & character.”
The facts are clear and documented. The Kansas City City Clerk confirmed in writing that an administrative error incorrectly suggested Willett voted on Resolution 250493, a measure declaring June 2025 LGBTQIA+ Pride Month and authorizing the City Manager to display flags honoring Pride Month. The City Clerk’s office reviewed the official record, confirmed Willett was not present in the room at the time of the vote, and confirmed he did not vote in support of the resolution.
“I’ve never voted in support of flying a pride flag instead of an American flag over City Hall. The city clerk confirmed this in writing but news stations refuse to take down the ads. Our team sent over a cease and desist order and asking for the immediate removal.”
Another accusation that Willett “spent $631,000 on transgender outreach programs” misrepresents a Kansas City Council vote that approved a GOP state initiated contract amendment with the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
“I never have voted in support of transition funding with tax dollars. In fact, I voted against it in ordinance number #240530 which directed the city to find tax dollars for trans programs. I’m also vocal about adding more women’s restrooms at KCI airport to protect women and children.”
“These are not policy disagreements; these are falsehoods,” Willett said. “If someone wants to debate real issues, I welcome it. But the consultant playbook is always the same: distort, distract, and deceive. Missouri voters are smarter than that.”
“I’m running on common-sense conservative policies that put Missouri first,” Willett said. “That includes backing our first responders, strengthening our schools, advancing tough and enforceable immigration policy, fighting for farmers and rural communities, and demanding fiscal responsibility and transparency in government. I’ll keep showing up, telling the truth, and fighting for Missouri families.”

Nehemiah 4:13-14
13 Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows. 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
