President Kiir officiated the inauguration ceremony of Juba National Stadium. The @FIFAWorldCup qualifier match between #SouthSudan & Sudan followed. Minister of Youth & Sports Dr. Joseph Akech, @FIFAcom Pres. Gianni Infantino & @ssfa_com Pres. Gen. Augustino Maduot were present.

During the inauguration of Juba National Stadium, President Salva Kiir urged South Sudanese to use sports for development and market the country to the world. He also reaffirmed @SouthSudanGov's commitment to consolidating peace and national unity through sports. @ssfa_com

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 📣 We're thrilled to announce that the @MoYS_SS has updated its logo with some minor adaptations and refreshed design! The leadership of the Ministry has approved it, consistent with the version approved by H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

Minister Dr. @GengJoseph, leading a delegation from the Ministry, met UNDP head Mrs. Ahunna Exiakonwa at UN Headquarters in New York. Joined by H.E. Ambassador Cecilia Adeng, they discussed deepening partnerships with youth in peace and development.
