برگی از تاریخ : پیش از آغاز ماموریت شهید جنرال داوود داوود در فرماندهی پلیس شمال، نفوذ طالبان در ولایت‌های شمال به گونه‌ی چشمگیری بیشتر شده بود اما با آغاز ماموریت جنرال داوود ، طالبان دیگر در ولایت‌های شمال آرام نبودند و سرانجام شکست سنگینی را تجربه کردند.

عید سعید اضحی؛ عید بخشایش و ایثار در راه حق، به همه مردمان مسلمان و متدین میهن عزیزمان و جهان، خجسته و گرامی باد! عید قربان، برای ما یادآور یک آزمون بزرگ معنوی است که در آن، ایمان در راه راستی پیروز شد. یکی از مهم‌ترین پیام‌های اعیاد ما در دین مبین اسلام، داشتن ایمان راسخ در راه راستی و ایستادن برای حقانیت است. با درک این مهم، ایستادگی و مبارزه در برابر شر، از وظایف ایمانی و وجدانی همه مسلمانان جهان به شمار می‌رود. فرزندان صدیق میهن در جبهۀ مقاومت ملّی افغانستان، با ایمان استوار بر مبارزه در برابر شر و با درک معتدل و خردگرا از دین مبین اسلام و فهم پیام‌های معنوی و انسانی آن، در برابر باطل می‌رزمند. ان‌شاءالله به امید پیروزی و سرافرازی!

بسمی تعالی هیچ پیامی٬ هیچ کلامی و هیچ عید مبارکی زیباتر از پیام قهرمانان جان بر کف وطن٬ در بلندای کوه های سر به فلک کشیده هندوکش نیست. ضمن درود به روح تمام شهدای وطن به تمام این قهرمانان که در گوشه کنار وطن درفش عزت و آزادی را بر افراشته اند درود میفرستم و آرزوی سلامتی و پیروزی دارم. عید سعید قربان شما قهرمانان٬ مردم شریف و با عزت وطنم و همه مسلمانان جهان مبارک باد.

در آستانه سالگرد شهادت سترجنرال محمد داوود داوود، فرمانده دلیر و یار وفادار قهرمان ملی کشور، احمدشاه مسعود، یاد و خاطره این فرزند برومند وطن را گرامی می‌داریم. او عمر خود را در راه عزت، استقلال و آرامش مردم فدا کرد و نامش در حافظه تاریخی این سرزمین جاودانه است.

At a time when the rules-based and values-based international order is increasingly being weakened and forgotten, Europe must continue to uphold the principles it has long claimed to defend: human rights, democracy, human dignity, and the rule of law. These values must not be sacrificed in the name of pragmatism or appeasement toward a terrorist regime. We ask our European friends to continue standing with the freedom-seeking people of Afghanistan; not with the terrorists and tyrants who oppress them. History will remember those who stood on the side of justice, freedom, and human dignity during one of the darkest chapters in our nation’s history. @EU_Commission @EP_President

Dear @AliNazary, your words honour the shared struggle for freedom, democracy and human dignity in Afghanistan. The courage of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan and of every Afghan woman, man and girl who refuses to bow to the Taliban's gender apartheid is a moral compass for all of us who believe that universal rights are non-negotiable. I want to take this occasion to renew my deepest gratitude for your invaluable participation in the first European Conference of Ventotene for Freedom and Democracy last year. Your testimony gave our community a profound understanding of what is truly at stake in Afghanistan, and reminded Europe that the defence of democracy is indivisible, from Kabul to Kyiv, from Tehran to Minsk. It is precisely this awareness that makes the current course unacceptable: the 20 Member States pushing the @EU_Commission towards "technical dialogues" with the Taliban must not become complicit in repression. By doing so, they are forgetting the very foundations of international law, the @CJEU jurisprudence, and the principles enshrined in our Treaties. There is no "pragmatic engagement" that can disguise the legitimisation of a regime committing crimes against humanity against women and girls, nor that can justify forcibly returning Afghan asylum seekers to the hands of their persecutors, in open breach of the principle of non-refoulement. The EU must instead deploy every instrument at its disposal - sanctions, accountability mechanisms, humanitarian corridors, structured support to the democratic opposition in exile - to counter these aberrations, not to normalise them. In this same spirit, I am honoured to invite you and @AhmadMassoud to the second edition of the European Conference of Ventotene for Freedom and Democracy unioneeuropea.it/torna-la-confe…. Your voice is essential: the Afghan resistance belongs to that constellation of democratic forces that Ventotene was conceived to bring together, amplify and protect. احمد مسعود رهبر جبهه مقاومت ملی افغانستان: اختلافات میان طالبان بسیار زیاد است. پس هر روزی که می‌گذرد، امیدواری بیشتر می‌شود. تنها چیزی که باعث خواهد شد کار و فعالیت‌های ما و شما را کُند بسازد، واقعاً با تمام وجود خدمت‌تان می‌گویم، بی‌اتحادی و بی‌اتفاقیِ ماست

تا دنیا احساس کند که غیر از این‌ها، دیگر کسی نیست. ما و شما باید نشان بدهیم که نه، هنوز هم مردم افغانستان، از اقوام و گروه‌های مختلف، می‌توانند در کنار هم به خاطر آینده خود تصمیم بگیرند.
