Chapter 1 of Slowly but Surely Since Chapter 0, lots has progressed behind the scene but not necessarily announced on CT here. The current choppy market is not the best timing to yap but the best time to quietly build. This is generally how I see the project and how to build around it to reach our ultimate vision of our digital identity infrastructure and more importantly the ecosystem building on top of it. And, I would like to share updates on them. 1. Product There are 3 major product verticals: Account, Identity, and Infrastructure. We are working with the best infrastructure partners as you can see in previous announcements such as @biconomy on 4337, and there are 5-10 more infrastructure partners we are building together which we haven't announced yet. All hands on deck with these goated partners to build the best digital identity solution that can reach hundreds of millions of users with any apps on any chains. These partners get the best alpha but they are committed to keeping things behind closed doors at the moment. 10-20% of the tech stack can be seen now in action with SK Planet, Anime Foundation, Sonieum, but I would call it a private alpha. The true thriving network will be realized when the 80% of the tech stack are being launched. We are not at a "scale" stage right now, and more so laying the foundation with select partners (white glove services). My prediction is that we will hit scale in July this year. 2. Ecosystem Upon @TherealSpatrick joining as leading our eco, we have mapped out the ideal state of the identity ecosystem, and it covers about 10 areas of focuses in order to complete the loop of onboard > verify > monetize. We have seen some early signals of real world product market fit, strong partner interest, some big names, and it's really gathering the avengers together with a common mission - a world that's open, interoperable, and user-owned. We aim to give our ecosystem day 1 capability to bootstrap any kinds of identity protocols (see it as Shopify for e-commerce), and day 1 access to a network of users and apps. By being selective on the first cohort of ecosystem partners, we are able to champion them and give our ecosystem partners any resources they need, specifically fundraising, user acquisition, marketing, BD pipeline, access to portfolio and a lot more. Quality and not quantity so we can also prioritize our time for you. A network of projects helping each other grow is our mission, and by default our tech stack is built for network growth by cross-pollination with digital identity. Starting from Q2-Q3, we will be running around the world and digitally back to back hackathons and gathering the brightest minds to build together. If you have a great team or even just a great idea, but lack resources, distribution, or tech stack on the heavy infra side, we are here to help you. We have also just onboarded an amazing DevRel, and can't wait to introduce to you all. 3. Attention If I have to be honest, all attention is on our dearest Trump and tariffs right now. We obviously have things planned in the back pocket to bring max attention to MOCA, but also more importantly to our ecosystem partners which would attribute to MOCA. Again, timing is everything. 4. Growth We have seen early signals on user growth from our alpha stage partners, and they are REAL users. Generally, as we are right about the early cohort of Moca's ecosystem, explosive user growth will hit. There's a lot of interest in AIR integration as almost everyone would love distribution on Day 0 by being part of the ecosystem. The product team is working around the clock to get us to a "scale" stage, so that we can turn the switch on and go full-on growth mode and more self-service integration. The growth strategy of MOCA will be different. Not only onboarding users together with partners, but there will also be projects in the ecosystem with unique distribution as part of the funnel to the broader ecosystem. 5. $MOCA Value Accrual As I teased earlier, the new $MOCA tokenomics is coming, and it will come together with Staking v2, product rollout, S2 airdrop, and more. We have to get it right with the new tokenomics, and hence all the modelling work, economic loop design, token distribution, and absorbing supply with strong value accrual is key. The new tokenomics is designed and built around a few key objectives: a) User grows, $MOCA grows b) Quality data grows, $MOCA grows c) # of quality project building with Moca Network grows, $MOCA grows d) 1 $MOCA out, 1+ $MOCA value in - no meaningless emissions Owning a $MOCA will truly be owning part of the network. ______ I know market's trash, but as I keep repeating, we are building for a big splash, so the impact is 10x when market is turning around (and we feel that we are constantly racing against the clock as it could come anytime in the next 6 months). And when we say we build, it's not just product, it's all of the above. While we hope it's green everyday, there's never a better time to go heads down building. Bear with us while we build. Chapter 0 of Slowly but Surely I passed out in the living room (burning out) and cannot fall back asleep, so taking this time to write chapters. First, Merry X'Mas. Congratulations, you have been through 2 years of Moca, some are newer, and we welcome you all. For any newcomers, you joined at absolutely the perfect time because 2025 is going to be huge. I do have a story to tell you - bear with me, it's later in this long message. Our mission is to enable any large user base consumer apps to have embedded blockchain capabilities, and open this network with every project keen on sharing this user base (with incentives of course). AIR Kit is going to play a huge role to realize this mission, but there's more we haven't announced yet. All these users will be sharing the same Account, Identity, and Reputation. You can use across all the apps adopting AIR Kit. Big tech such as Tencent and Alibaba are making this happen by consolidating all services into one single app, and all these services are owned by the big tech. We think differently. We think despite big tech is being so successful, we are all locked in a massive walled garden, and we don't feel it because the walled garden is too huge - similar to flies being trapped in a box for days, the habit grows within you, and you slowly think that's your only world, and you never fly outside of the box. The power of web3 comes down to openness. With your shared AIR (going to use this abbreviation going forward to save words), services do not need to be owned by us or any centralized party. These services are provided to you as users with your identity and reputation being the reason for these projects to reach you. It might or might not happen in one app, but more importantly is that everyone can build on top of this ecosystem to provide services to you based on your identity and data owned by YOU. In the future, you will not be bounded by any big tech. Your own identity can be used anywhere, and your access to services and rewards will be limitless. There's already a court case / lawsuit with Google against the user when the user attempted to claimed their own data and monetize it. Guess what? The user won. What that means is that user has all the rights to own and monetize their own data, and they can bring their own data to wherever the fuck they want. You start to see the importance of user data, and being able to prove the data with a case with Taylor Swift's Verified Fan on TicketMaster. How can you prove to any apps that you're truly a verified fan? This is one of the use cases that Moca Network's infrastructure can enable. As I tweeted earlier, $TON is building on top of 1 large consumer app, $MOCA will be build on top of endless number of consumer apps with millions or even billions of users. And $MOCA will be the common currency and language across all these apps. Sorry for yapping so much, but this was supposed to be the core of this Chapter 0 LOL: For those who went through the past 2 years with Moca, I really really sincerely appreciate your patience, trust and conviction, and it pays off. What I would say is dream bigger, you all know what my mcap rank target is in 2 years. Since the NFT mint, we never broke any promises. For newcomers, let me tell you a story: - The first Moca NFT mint was in March 2023, each NFT costs 0.069 ETH when ETH was 2k or less (basically free) - The NFT floor price went to 2 ETH+ - NFT FP got dumped to 0.6 ETH then 0.3 ETH - Massive FUD, keep building - NFT FP passed 1 ETH after ApeFest in December 2023 when Moca ID was being rolled out - We were one of the first to roll out Account Abstraction wallet and probably the largest user count at that time - NFT FP went to 5 ETH - Public sale got 30m USD committed funds for 5m allocation priced at 350m FDV with the best vesting terms amongst everyone else - $MOCA launched with "open low" strategy to welcome new people in - $MOCA went to 1.2b+ and trace down to 600m ish - Massive FUD again, keep building - Today $MOCA went up by 4-5x from 600m, close to 10x from public sale - The story will continue from here... The core of the story is not to tell you that we've been amazing. We are very far from amazing. We have made many mistakes, but every single mistake we didn't give up to correct it, because we keep our promise to whoever believe in us. We learned and grew together with you, and will continue to do so. Has it been tough? It's mf-ing tough. Is it worth it? 100%. Sometimes price will go up, and price will go down. What doesn't change is that the team who's working on Moca will NEVER give up, and will always deliver. Sometimes it just takes more time. Pretty sure 99% of you didn't actually read, but I will treat this as my journal. Sorry about the rough writing - I finally feel a bit sleepy now. GN. Love you all.
