@allenanalysis Can someone elaborate more on the anti-sodomy law that was unconstitutional?

Louisiana Democrats introduced a bill banning bestiality. 10 Republicans voted against it. Their stated reason: they were concerned that separating the bestiality provision from the anti-sodomy provision would weaken the state’s anti-sodomy law. The anti-sodomy law was already unconstitutional. Had been for 15 years at the time of the vote. Couldn’t be enforced. Still on the books.
