Several RCCG Female Members in Lautech, Ogbomoso, Call Out Pastor Tayo Sobowale Over Alleged S+xual A§§ault Several female members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Lautech, Ogbomoso have publicly accused a pastor identified as Pastor Tayo Sobowale of alleged s+xual a§sault during a church gathering. The allegation reportedly came to light when one of the women addressed the congregation, narrating her experience in detail and claiming the incident occurred after she was invited to the pastor’s residence. According to her statement, she said: “You told me you would wait for me to finish what I was doing to get you the pounded yam and egusi. I brought it to your place in upper room and before I knew it, you were all over me. You were trying to r+pe me and I kept closing my leg and telling you no.” She further alleged that the situation escalated, adding: “You did it to the extent that you now stopped and asked me to give you head. I asked you the way you touch me if you touch other ladies like that and you said most of those ladies are virgins…” The claims reportedly caused shock among members present during the church gathering. Pastor Tayo Sobowale has been named in connection with the allegations, which involve claims of s+xual misconduct involving female church members. However, no official confirmation or legal determination has been made regarding the allegations at the time of this report.

PUBLIC NOTICE WARNING AGAINST ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. The Office of the Director General Security Matters is not unaware of the current tension in parts of the State following the unfortunate incident involving the death of Mr Oghenemine Ogidi in Effurun. We acknowledge the pain and concerns of citizens, and investigations into the matter are in full swing to ensure justice is served. 2.However, it has become necessary to address a disturbing trend arising from this incident. During a recent routine patrol by officers of Operation Delta Sweep, an individual accosted by them became unruly, questioned the lawful stop, and physically assaulted an officer by grabbing and dragging the officer's uniform. Contrary to what was being circulated, the officer involved is a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on official duty, not a Police Officer. 3.The State Government and all security agencies strongly condemn this act. While we understand public anger over the Oghenemine Ogidi’s incident, it must be emphasised that no citizen is permitted to take the law into their own hands, insult, or assault officers discharging their lawful duties. 4. In view of the above, we therefore warn the general public as follows: i. Desist from any form of assault, obstruction, or disrespect toward law enforcement officers. Such actions are criminal and will be met with the full weight of the law. ii.Do not resort to self-help or mob action. Two wrongs do not make a right. iii.Channel all complaints of misconduct, brutality, or unlawful behaviour by any law enforcement agent to the appropriate authorities: the Police Complaints Response Unit, or the Office of the Director General, Security Matters. 5.We appeal for calm and urge citizens to allow the law to take its course in the Mene case. The security of lives and property requires the cooperation of all. Attacking officers makes policing difficult and endangers the entire community. The State Government remains committed to justice, accountability, and the protection of all residents. Hon. David Tonwe Director General, Security Matters/Coordinator Operation Sweep

Very very soon, I will tell the complete story on how they both got into a fight on supremacy. Peter Obi took side with Mama Pee and threw Serah under the bus. My fingers are itchy, but this will be a story for another day.

For the records, I didn't start supporting Peter Obi today. And I dont have any spiritual reason to. God didn't tell me to. God doesn't elect presidents. President Tinubu said he took over from himself, thus claiming that his presidency and Buhari's presidency are one and same. It's been around a decade of that whole presidency now. We can use a change for the starters. I go for Peter Obi, nothing personal. It just makes sense to try some one else , especially one who has a track record of integrity. No politician is God, even Pastors have bad records. We pick and choose. I pick Peter.

Shows me another Nigerian governor who left office, refused his pension, rejected the land allocated to him, and walked away with $500m saved for the state instead of for himself. I’ll wait. Show me a better presidential candidate better than him. If you can show me on you get 50k this instant.
