1. Sandy is using a phrase common in Aussie sport that to her and other Aussies doesn’t carry racial connotations

Chelsea Gray had a valid reason to speak out about the racial slurs she had received. My issue wasn’t that she spoke up, it was the timing. It was selective racism because she waited until after the Indiana game to address something that had been happening previously.
The Sandy Brondello and Angel Reese situation, though, feels like a huge reach. I can’t speak for how Angel took the comment, but I honestly believe that if she had known “protected species” is a common Australian expression referring to someone who gets favorable treatment, she wouldn’t have said anything.
Situations like this will make people take a blind eye to things because it’s real people out here dealing with these things in real life, and you guys find the smallest detail of what someone say and say it’s racist. Pathetic!

BREAKING: Fort Worth Police Chief Eddie Garcia ADMITS that his officers were "wrong" after we exposed multiple Ft. Worth police violating Christians' Free Speech rights.
He now claims he is taking "accountability" by giving 1st Amendment refresher training to officers.
"The way that we were describing what is lawful, what is not lawful... we were wrong in the manner in which we communicated that. Certainly, we're going to take accountability for it."
These officers have already violated people's rights. They should be relieved of duty immediately.
