@Diaryofmiracles @Protestia @TrevorSheatz @AshleySheatz My comment was the DW out the difference between sensibilities of classical Christendom vs modern christian sensibilities. Ironically, the feminists and the classical Christendom position are on the same side on this one.

@Moderatemuch @Protestia @TrevorSheatz @AshleySheatz Is it glamorization though? Scripture itself doesn’t really shy away from giving horrifying details of evil in order to learn from other people’s mistakes. I‘m not fully informed about the details, but I have not seen any mention that could make living promiscuous sound appealing

The Daily Wire hosts mock and make fun of @TrevorSheatz for his viral "My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin" tweet. All the while, they show they don't know anything about the situation, or the fact that his wife @AshleySheatz has been sharing her testimony for years- it's been pinned to her profile since 2019- as a testament to God's mercy and lovingkindness.

@NCalvinist1689 @MrsCMFrancis @Moderatemuch fullness of truth, fullness of means of salvation doesn’t mean “full salvation.” Either one is saved or not. The Catholic Church just thinks you’re working out your salvation (Phil 2:12) with one hand tied behind your back.

As an Evangelical, I absolutely think that I have many brothers and sister in the Catholic Church. I am asking this sincerely: do Catholics feel the same? (P.s. any bashing on either side in the comments is getting an instant block)

@MrsCMFrancis @Moderatemuch Understand where I’m coming from: former RC praying for parents &extended family still there. Did you note how he said the sacraments are necessary for ‘full salvation’. That is just part of the RCC works-righteous way of salvation. Theirs is another gospel.

🚨 LEAKED TAPE: Erika Kirk's UNREGISTERED Meeting Triggers FORMAL Investigation and Massive LAWSUIT😱 While TPUSA was allegedly applying backroom pressure to get @ZeeToTheHill and @TheOmniLiberal CANCELED at ASU, Erika Kirk snuck onto campus to hold a secret, UNREGISTERED meeting. Our inside sources confirm ASU is now launching a formal investigation that will lead to disciplinary action against the TPUSA chapter. The ultimate irony? In the leaked tape below, a student asks Erika about the war with Iran—the exact issue Charlie was fighting against. Erika completely deflects and tells the chapter to focus on "freedom of speech." You don't get to preach about "free speech" in a secret, unregistered meeting on the exact same day you allegedly get your political rivals banned from campus. The facade is crumbling. 👇
Zee Cohen-Sanchez@ZeeToTheHill

Unfortunately @ASU cancelled our Unfuck America Tour event that we had scheduled on Monday with @TheOmniLiberal but we are still showing up on campus anyway. As a result we are filing a lawsuit against Arizona State University for violating our First Amendment rights. The same day it was cancelled @MrsErikaKirk showed up at the campus and complained about Unfuck America — Ironically in that same meeting Erika scolded her chapter members for not countering our event, she told them to stop talking about Iran and just talk about freedom of speech. Public universities don’t get to decide who can speak. Every campus, same playbook.  @TPUSA applying pressure behind the scenes to shut us down. We know exactly how this works. And unfortunately for them, we’re not going away, we’re fully prepared to take them to court too.

Who said this 👉 "Let the shallow, new believers be vile on the internet, for they are weaker brothers."? It wasn’t me! This contradicts everything you said earlier and you don’t even see it. Wild👉 No. Correct them for their sin, and encourage them to grow in maturity and understanding of the forgiveness that was offered to them, and what the expectations are for them in extending forgiveness to others.

Have the balls to stand by what you're actually doing. The man is engaging in internet discourse about whether or not e-girls can be forgiven. His personal story is more relevant to that than a hypothetical, and so he referenced a public story (of course his wife knows). "It doesn't matter if the wife believes it's appropriate or not." Why does your opinion about the phrase "previously promiscuous" matter more than anyone else's? You may view such a public utterance as immoral, but it is actually incredibly benign. Your participation in the discourse has done nothing to advance Christ's kingdom, and only distracts from the core message of the OP: Christ forgave us greatly, and we can now forgive one another. "Let the shallow, new believers be vile on the internet, for they are weaker brothers." No. Correct them for their sin, and encourage them to grow in maturity and understanding of the forgiveness that was offered to them, and what the expectations are for them in extending forgiveness to others.

1.No, I didn’t assume that. It is not germane to my point. 2.The evidence is the testimony of the husband. That is what I reacted to. Again, it doesn’t matter if the wife believes it appropriate or not… her opinion does not dictate the reality of morality. 3.Boasting due to the weakness of others is antithetical to the Gospel. Luke 18:9-14 You said it better than me. THIS IS THE PROBLEM 👉 “His forgiveness of her past IS part of his own testimony.” 4.Your last comment is frankly incoherent… you’ve proven you can’t actually engage with what I’ve said and prefer to engage with what you wish I said instead, so your judgment about what I’ve said isn’t specious—it’s a fabrication.

You assume the husband testimony about his wife’s sins without her permission, and piped in with outside criticism about how salacious things shouldn’t be shared. How about you react to the actual evidence? There was nothing inappropriate about the testimony, and you don’t know whether the wife knew or cared that her testimony was mentioned. His forgiveness of her past IS part of his own testimony. It’s a bizarre combination white knighting, mixed with religious fervor about even the mentioning of sexual sin in the vaguest terms being inappropriate. All covered in misapplied “weaker brother,” language.

Yep… substituting what I said for what you prefer me to have said, is classic straw-man. Where exactly did I tell people not to share their testimony? No where. When did I say it was inappropriate for the wife to share her past life? No where. What I actually said is it is inappropriate for a husband to share his wife’s past sins, even if they are public about it. But here I am going against my better judgement to respond to you again… I guess I must confess.

😂😂😂 Anyone who says that Aquinas and Calvin “bastardized” scripture is immediately disqualified from having a trustworthy opinion. Worst yet, there is 0 chance your theology is closer to Tertullian that to Aquinas, or Justin Martyr for that matter. Go to google and look up what this means, and don’t respond. It won’t be worth my time.

You do an excellent job of showing the bastardization of theology as it departs from scripture, and you use inflamed language to make your case more than logical reasoning. “Was previously promiscuous,” is not titillating language. Turning God’s message of “be sensitive to the weaknesses of others who are not yet strong in their faith,” and corrupting it into “never share a public testimony of how you have been changed by your faith,” is completely wrong.

Such a silly thing to say; This is a difference between modern Christianity and Christendom Christianity. When you read about the considerations for public life in Christendom Christianity, you understand that promoting such a thing isn’t appropriate, no matter how much your wife has shared it as part of a ministry. Augustine of Hippo, in Confessions, avoids explicit detail that could inflame curiosity. John Chrysostom cautioned against publicly recounting sins in ways that excite the imagination. He emphasized that Christians should avoid speech that could “harm the weaker brother” (echoing First Epistle to the Corinthians, especially chapters 8–10). Medieval penitential practice emphasized public order and moral tone, avoiding the normalization or glamorization of sin. Thomas Aquinas taught that even good actions can be wrong if they lead others into sin or confusion, and that prudence requires considering how actions are perceived, not just intentions. John Calvin likewise emphasized decency and restraint in discussing sexual matters, avoiding speech that could corrupt or distract. This is the problem when your religion is literally one year old.

Uncovered audio shows Anthony Fauci talking about having every major corporation require vaccinations and making it as hard as possible on citizens so they’re forced to be vaccinated He says if you make it hard enough on people, they’ll abandon their beliefs This is Evil “Once people feel empowered and protected legally, you are gonna have schools, universities and colleges are gonna say, you wanna come to this college buddy? You're gonna get vaccinated, lady. You're gonna get vaccinated. Big corporations like Amazon and Facebook and all of those others are gonna say, you wanna work for us to get vaccinate. And it's been proven that when you make it difficult for people in their lives, they lose their ideological bullshit. And they get vaccinated.”
