@Cernovich I will not vote for the GOP until Trump forces through his agenda OR declares war on the Senate then names and shames those assholes. If he refuses to do that then I will vote for those Dems who will impeach him and arrest his entire family. The Senate is the enemy. Win or War

The Senate left but it's not in recess. Thune is denying Trump the ability to make recess appointments via these tricky games. Trump isn't talking about this. Maybe he doens't understand? JD was in the Senate and could explain this. Why it's not a bigger deal is a mystery to me.

Gotta give Trump credit where it’s due. Many of us freaked out at the prospect of him getting involved for Cornyn. For whatever reason, he backed off. He deserves credit. Also, if I’m Trump, I’m having a little chat with the people who tried to sell me that Cornyn endorsement…
Caroline Wren@CarolineWren

Woah. In this mornings Politico Playbook… - Trump’s potential endorsement of Cornyn is dead - Paxton had a “positive meeting” with Trump on Friday - NRSC and SLF confirm they’ve abandoned Cornyn in the runoff 👀 👀 👀 politico.com/newsletters/pl…

The left wants to rule and the right wants to be left alone. The right suffers from failing to realize that you can only be left alone if the politicians who want to leave you alone rule. That is not always Republicans but it’s is NEVER Democrats And before you tell me “not good enough” I’m going to ask you whether or not you vote in all the primaries. Because if you don’t, you’re helping to ensure that you never get the kind of Republicans you want.

When conservatives say they won’t vote this November, the left has gotten exactly what they want: Voter apathy. Because Democrats remain passionate voters. Patriots vote. Citizens who love and want to preserve and save this country VOTE. Voter apathy is for losers.

This is how the GOP Senate blocks Trump from recess appointments. 2 minute pro forma sessions every few days during their vacation. Only POTUS in history that has had recess appointments blocked by his own party. Think about that. Traitors. Sickening.

I'm not going to dis AOC's B.A., but do you really think earning a bachelor's degree is a more impressive achievement than taking a small family business w/ 6 employees and turning it into a company with over 300 employees and $20 million in annual sales? If so, you're an idiot.
Arlen Parsa@arlenparsa

AOC graduated with honors from Boston University with double degrees in Economics and International Relations. Markwayne was the only Senator without even a bachelor’s degree. Hope that helps.

This actually resonated with me a ton because it is also the exact reason I decided banking was not for me Vividly remember, it was 10:30 pm the night before a major holiday. Every single person in the office was still there, including my MDs and VPs One MD was missing a family get together to be there. Another VP had just had a kid with his wife a few months ago. They were all still working away at the office at that hour, putting together a deck that the client was likely going to spend less than a few minutes on I looked around and simply thought that I didn’t want that to be me in 15 years Not saying it is good or bad, but it’s certainly not the lifestyle for everybody

@pablofindsout @ProFootballTalk It’s like Realtors taking 6% on a $200k median house was fine. Wanting 6% on a $500k median house that inflated overnight? Yea, go F yourself. You didn’t earn that much. Same thing here…

Jimmy Carr just dropped a radical rethink of taxes, education, and national wealth: - No tax for anyone under 30 → let young people keep every penny they earn and actually start their lives. - University should be free… but only for STEM fields that grow society (not a luxury item for 50% of kids). - Over 60? No tax either — stop pretending we can pay endless pensions with fewer young workers. - Sovereign wealth fund from UK oil, gas, wind farms, and mobile masts — assets that should belong to everyone, not just the Crown. On AI and the future: We need flexibility of thought. Old ideologies won’t cut it when everything changes. Why does everything have to come from taxing workers? Why not undercut Ireland on corporation tax, mine Bitcoin with idle power stations, or treat national resources as shared wealth? Do you think no-tax zones for the young and old + free STEM education could actually work? Or is this too radical for a country stuck in old thinking? Your take 👇

@WhozMEECH The game is ass. It’s been solved. Low effort & zero passion from the players. No defense. Foul baiting. Filled with unrelatable freaks like Wemby, Giannis, Durant….it’s like watching kids on a Fischer Price hoop. They’re all China loving traitors and sellouts. I could go on…

The product is not nearly as good as it was in the, 90s, 2000s and 2010s. And get this, it’s NOT because of social media or because people have “more to do” now than ever. Because they don’t. Most people stay at home and are on their phones or watching TV. If the product was good it would thrive more now than ever. Imagine if fro-Kobe, peak Shaq, peak Duncan, McGrady, young LeBron, young Wade, young Durant, KG, Dirk, Iverson, Vince Carter and other stars from the 2000s replaced the stars of the NBA today. And they had the same competitive defensive mindset the 2000s had. The league would be thriving at levels it’s never seen before. The league isn’t even suffering because the stars of the NBA aren’t good enough or don’t compare to the 2000s generation. There are so many great stars today. The problem is they don’t start playing with effort until after the all star break and the foul baiting and overall NBA culture is just GARBAGE compared to previous eras. The data shows it. People don’t like the product. Bring back competitive spirit and defense. This why when Kobe retired people predicted not having his competitive spirit around in the league would make the league worse in time. And they were right.
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania

The NBA has informed teams that the league is projecting a $165 million salary cap for 2026-27 -- $1M lower than previous outlooks due to a reduction in local media revenue, sources tell ESPN. Minimum salary $149M, tax level $201M, first apron $209M, second apron $222M also $1M lower each.

This exchange between Tucker Carlson and Professor Jiang Xueqin on the current state of Canada is worth watching. TUCKER: You mentioned Canada. Most Americans don't even know the capital of Canada. Canada does not appear on their radar, doesn't figure in their thoughts. But you described it as probably, quote, probably the richest country in the world. I think that's objectively true. And yet Canada is not a rich country. In fact, it's getting poorer. Its life expectancy is declining. Its GDP is declining, and that's on purpose. The nation of Canada has been suppressed on purpose. Its population is being killed off by the state through its assisted suicide program and its population is changing through mass immigration against the will of the population. So that country is being held down on purpose. And my question is, by whom and why? JIANG: Sure. That's a great question. And it's something that I struggle with all the time because I am a Canadian citizen. I went to school there. So my answer is that Canada was never really a nation-state. It's more of a glorified resource colony for the British, the city of London and the reality is now that the British are under a lot of strain, the state of London is under a lot of financial pressure. It sees places like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. And what do you do if you have financial issues? You do corporate restructuring, right? You change the middle management. right and historically you know the British got along very well with the Indian elite right they went into India and stole tons of dollars from uh the indians and the Indian elite were perfectly happy to help them so why not use the same model for Australia and for Canada So there are millions of Indians who immigrated to Canada in the past five years and it's put a lot of strain on the Canadian economy because housing prices have exploded and so ordinary Canadians can no longer afford to buy a house. And it's put tremendous pressure on the Canadian welfare system, on the Canadian economy. And you would think that the proper strategy would have a moratorium where they're like, you know what, we've had too many immigrants and we need to close the borders and absorb these immigrants because we want to ensure that these immigrants have proper housing, they have decent jobs, right? You would think that that'd be the right strategy. And instead, Mark Carney goes to India and says, we want more Indians, and also, we'll give you scholarships to come to Canada to study for free. Meanwhile, there are a lot of Canadians who are homeless, who are unemployed, and who cannot put food on the table. But hey, we want more Indians. So if it's not corporate restructuring, if it's not trying to asset strip Canada, I really don't understand the strategy for this. TUCKER: Well, I mean, it's a kind of genocide against Canadians, people whose ancestors built the country, but you wonder what the purpose is. Because it is happening all over the West, all over the English speaking world in the white countries. And it's not an accident, it's not organic. So it's a big picture that spans from Australia to Ottawa.
