@ChazakielDoremi Pink is the only pill worth taking. It has no limits on how much of the future you can see in those 5 mins and blue is the most obvious monkey's paw on the planet. Green is cool but only mildly useful to most and orange is certain death (there are no safety clauses).

@catboyuno I actually enjoyed the mechanic of this event because I don't have to fight the "boss" 😭 require a lil attention sure but nothing outrageous like flying fireball or killer drone 🥴 my true ptsd was Adele, those damn pink cloud and fluffy sheep!!!

@Forsaken_Vicar The OG version of Blighttown (and Spooky Londo, IIRC) had framerates in the low single digits. At least our Lord and Savior DSFix allowed us PC people to play at a smooth framerate.

Tbf a big part of why people don’t see that Clark is Superman in the comics is because they (like Lex in the movie) don’t think Superman has a secret identity. Lex thinks he already has it figured out. He thinks he just lives as Kal El. He’s not looking for a secret identity because he can’t wrap his head around the idea that the most powerful man on earth would try to be someone completely normal in the day to day. Guy Gardner doesn’t, for example, and Supes doesn’t wear a mask so most people assume the same thing.

@inkblotPrincess Souls combat can largely be solved by dodging (rolling or running/walking), as enemies are just as animation-locked as you are. Once you overcome your fear, diving straight into the attacking hand is a safe solution for ~90% of encounters. It's part of why bosses got twitchy.

@inkblotPrincess Dark Souls is many things but a game about parrying isn't one of them. It' by far the dumbest solution to any problem not named Gwyn and primarily a cool gimmick for a challenging playthrough. And you absolutely can clear Sekiro with parry spam.

Sekiro is maybe the only game I have ever played that has parrying and isn't a worse game as a result. Most games with parrying (Dark Souls, Expedition 33, DOOM) just feel like this.

the parry is 100% the defining mechanic of the last decade souls games popularised the parry, now even doom & spider-man have a parry, expedition 33's loop is built on parries, any game with swords is expected to have it. and it still feels satisfying to pull off in every game
