You can see how absurdly rich the SF Bay Area is. SF + San Jose had a combined GDP lower than Chicago in 2012. Today, they're 35% bigger. We need to start thinking of SF, not Chicago, as America's third city.

My best friend lives in Minneapolis and was picking his son up from a sleepover. He happened to be behind an ICE vehicle for a couple of blocks. They pulled him over, and 4 masked men surrounded his car with his kid in the back, pounding on his window and were yelling "WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING US". Easy to see after this recent situation how things like that can escalate, even in a completely innocent situation because of the horrible tension. If there's no accountability for the "enforcers" then we're all doomed, especially when not breaking any laws. We should all want accountability, checks and balances.
