Today, I officially launched the Sierra Leone Medium-Term National Development Plan (MTNDP) 2024–2030 – a strategic document designed to guide our revised New Direction development priorities for the next 5 to 7 years. This citizen-centric public policy was unveiled by key stakeholders, including members of my Cabinet, Development Partners, Members of the Diplomatic Community, Members of Parliament, Business Leaders, The Media, Civil Society Organisations and NGOs, among others. Our new National Development Plan will guide the operations of all development actors in #SierraLeone and build on gains made in the implementation of our predecessor Plan during the first term of my administration. The MTNDP 2024–2030 is also designed to address unfinished business and emerging challenges as we renew our determination to accelerate our efforts toward achieving the @UN Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) by 2030. We are confident that this MTNDP will help push the bounds of our national development agenda and guide the implementation of our priorities to improve the quality of life of our people. As we transition from planning to action, let us all embody the spirit of collective activism committed to transforming our aspirations into tangible realities. I thank the Minister of Planning and Economic Development (@moped2023), Madam Kenyeh Barlay, for leading the development of the new MTNDP. I extend gratitude to every individual who contributed to the creation of this innovative blueprint, including representatives from our esteemed development partners, government institutions, local councils and communities, the private sector, civil society, NGOs, persons with disabilities, women and youth groups, community and traditional leaders, trade unions, members of Parliament, academia, students and many more. Together, we can and will build a Sierra Leone that is a symbol of hope, progress and prosperity for generations to come. #PaopaSaLoneMustBetteh
