I'm not baffled. We have the highest property taxes in the province. Our infrastructure debt is >$3B & grows annually. We have a revenue problem. We study. Council asks for and gets $1B for LRT as a critical investment to leverage additional investment. 'Council' waffles. The end

@mj_chamberlain Mark, I'm baffled by the anti-LRT position right now. I understand short term it means upheaval. But gains in work for thousands for years will be huge. The investment of businesses that will come; community benefits; infrastructure renewal... we can't afford not to. #yesLRT

Most of our current councilors and many challengers in the upcoming election don't seem to see $1B as an investment that has a 'vision' that captures other investor's interest enough to invest 'with the city'? Is this due to lack of experience, imagination or both?
