This order will effectively dismantle the dairy sector’s circularity , leather industry and exports of leather goods and meat industry and exports. Trade will go underground and become illegal. But then they all know it and they also know why they are doing it. Only question is - does it look like a nation headed for greatness or for abyss ?

BREAKING: Madras High Court effectively bans cow and calf slaughter in Tamil Nadu. The Court has directed the State to ensure that “no cow or calf is slaughtered on the eve of Bakrid or on any other day.” It also held that cow sacrifice is not essential to Bakrid.

Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it. Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying. Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence." Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter." Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter. They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created. One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility." Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies. That's the metered intelligence business model. And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.

By the SIR judgement, the SC virtually gives a blank cheque to a totally Partisan ECI to do what it wants with electoral rolls without even any transparency. It portends ill for our democracy & is a dark day for the SC

This so-called “critical minerals deal” and the Quad’s new port project in Fiji are two sides of the same dirty coin. India is being locked into supplying RAW RARE EARTH MINERALS especially Neodymium, Praseodymium, Dysprosium, and monazite-rich beach sands to America and its allies. The primary Indian operator is the government company IREL (INDIA) LIMITED. The main foreign partner is Japan’s TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION (through its subsidiary Toyotsu Rare Earths India), which has been taking processed rare earths from IREL for years. Here’s the layer no one dares to say out loud: The real mining will hit the coastal communities of Chavara (Kerala) and Manavalakurichi (Tamil Nadu) hardest. These areas already suffer from high background radiation due to monazite. Studies have shown severe soil and water contamination toxic heavy metals, radioactive waste, and destroyed ecosystems. Local people already report high rates of cancer, respiratory diseases, skin ailments, and other chronic illnesses. This deal will intensify that destruction. Fisherfolk will lose their beaches and livelihood. Groundwater will get further poisoned. Entire villages will face rising cancer clusters and generational health damage. The land, the sea, the air everything that sustains life in these areas will be stripped away so that America and Japan can secure their defense and tech supply chains against China. Meanwhile, the Quad port project in FIJI (announced on 26 May 2026) is the military counterpart turning small Pacific nations into strategic outposts. India is not gaining sovereignty or industrial power. It is voluntarily becoming a raw material colony and a geopolitical tool for the US-led bloc. The elite will call it a “strategic partnership.” The truth is far darker: India’s coastal poor will pay with their health, their land, and their future while the profits and finished products flow outward. This is not development. This is SACRIFICING INDIAN BLOOD and soil on the altar of American strategic interests. The mainstream narrative of “win-win trade deal” is a complete and utter lie.
Secretary Marco Rubio@SecRubio

Today, @DrSJaishankar and I signed a bilateral Critical Minerals Framework, marking a milestone in the strategic partnership between the U.S. and India. This sets us on a path toward reliable & resilient mineral supply chains, reinforcing key objectives established by @POTUS.

I did not to go to the Supreme Court today to hear its order in the SIR case. As a litigant in this case, and as someone who was given the honour of addressing the court, I should have been hopeful, anxious, or at least curious. I was not. The case was decided long ago. We were only waiting for the transcript and its fine print. The course of this case was settled in August last year. Having heard arguments against SIR for three days, the court moved away from examining the constitutionality of SIR and effectively converted itself into a Consumer Forum, focused on grievance redressal and arbitration, rather than constitutional principles. The case was effectively decided when the apex court allowed the ECI to rush through the Bihar elections without first deciding the matter, and without requiring the ECI to rectify even the most glaring defects in post-SIR rolls. There was little left of this case once the ECI proceeded with the second and then the third phase of SIR, while the Hon’ble Court leisurely heard arguments about its constitutionality. SIR had become a fait accompli. Any remaining doubt disappeared when the Hon’ble judges observed in open court that no one would be allowed to obstruct SIR. The final nail in the coffin of this petition was hammered during the hearing of another petition before the same Bench, when an Hon’ble judge remarked that millions denied their right to vote need not fret, since they could vote in the next election. At that moment, the court abdicated its constitutional responsibility. Shorn of legalese, the simple truth is that the highest court of a constitutional democracy has already authorised the disenfranchisement of millions of citizens — at least 59 million so far, could go up eventually to 100 million. It was inconceivable that the court would now declare SIR unconstitutional and annul all post-SIR elections. The lawyers were waiting for the the exact legal reasoning deployed to arrive at a conclusion that was already known. Such legal gymnastics did not interest me. Some friends were looking for some crumbs in the hope that the court might at least wish to save face, if not save the voters. Eventually that too did not happen. Polite noises apart, the Court has handed over a carteblac to the ECI to do what it pleases with the voters list. ADR vs Union of India (2026) is to our times what ADM Jabalpur vs Shivkant Shukla (1976) was to the previous assault on our democracy. We must hope that the SIR judgment does not mark the crumbling of the last constitutional wall, as ADM Jabalpur once did. We must believe that one day this constitutional abdication by the guardian of the Constitution will be recognised for what it was. And reversed. Jai Hind!

A Brahmin student being called a 'Pakistani' by Modi Bhakts shocked and rightfully hurt many people across ideological lines, including several from the Right Wing itself. Because suddenly, people realised how dehumanising that label is. But for years now, countless Indian Muslims especially those who speak up or question the government or criticise the PM are casually branded 'Pakistanis' or 'Bangladeshis' or a 'Rohingya'. Our loyalty is questioned, our identity is regularly mocked, our citizenship treated as conditional. And the society has normalised it so much that most people don’t even react anymore. An insult that rightfully outraged people when used against a Brahmin student is thrown at Muslims every single day without guilt or an outrage, or without any consequences. No Indian should have to constantly prove they belong to their own country. All thanks to the Media and the Politicians for Normalising this Hate against Indian Muslims.

There is no clarity as to why Jaswinder Singh—a 35-year-old BSF soldier who died in NCB custody, was not produced physically in courts, and there are doubts over whether medical examinations were indeed conducted during his seventeen-day incarceration—since he had specifically requested one in his final phone call to his family. The Samba district court is only around thirty kilometres from the Gandhi Nagar government hospital. By all accounts, Jaswinder was extremely fit and had no history of illnesses or medical preconditions. My queries regarding these matters were not answered in the NCB’s email. Read the entire report by Jatinder Kaur Tur (@jatinder_tur) on how a soldier of the Border Security Force died in NCB custody: caravanmagazine.in/crime/a-soldie…
