Her name is Malavika Hegde. In July 2019, her husband VG Siddhartha walked onto a bridge near Mangalore and told his driver he would be back shortly. He never came back. Siddhartha had built Cafe Coffee Day into India’s largest coffee chain. 1700 cafes. 25000 employees. He had also buried the company under Rs 7214 crore of debt. The board panicked. Analysts wrote CCD off. Nobody had accounted for Malavika. She was an engineer. A mother of two. She had never run a company in her life. Her father SM Krishna was a former Chief Minister of Karnataka. She could have lived in that shadow comfortably. She chose the debt instead. In December 2020, she took over as CEO. In the middle of a pandemic. Her first act was a personal letter to all 25000 employees. She wrote the CCD story is worth preserving. I will fight for this brand. Then she got to work. She called every lender personally and renegotiated terms. She sold Global Village Tech Park to Blackstone. She closed every loss making outlet. She exported premium Arabica beans from her own 20000 acre farm to international markets to generate fresh revenue. She never raised the price of a single cup of coffee. By 2021, the debt was down to Rs 1731 crore. By 2023, it was Rs 465 crore. A 93 percent reduction in four years. Today, CCD runs 423 cafes and 55733 vending machines across India. Netflix is developing a web series on her life. Business schools are teaching her turnaround as a case study. She had no playbook. She had no mentor. She had grief and 25000 people depending on her. That was enough. Follow for real stories India never makes headlines about.

Would this last in your city? I’ve spent years studying the mind, but Japan just taught me a lesson in the soul. Most of us leave 'small gaps' in our habits, thinking they don't matter. But in Japan, a gap is a failure of respect. Watching this, I realized: my life's 'potholes' started as small details, I was too lazy to fix. Precision isn't about the road; it's about the person you become while paving it. I’m done settling for 'good enough.

It was never about the size of the economy. What we need is not a bigger GDP. GDP is in fact just an aggregate number, it 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 beautifully. It can keep growing while millions of children sit in classrooms with 𝗻𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 to even reach them. What we need is clarity about what development actually means. Clarity about having education that doesn't just prepare you for employment, but 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆. Clarity about having means through which kids, especially 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆. They must have parks. Libraries. That's what real development is. Not skyscrapers. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺/𝗵. What we are missing is not a bigger GDP. It's clarity about what we are building. And the will to demand it.

BSNL’s numbers are finally moving. ARPU jumps 42% in FY26. ₹71 → ₹101 Govt calls it “transformative”. With 4G rollout and indigenous stack push, is this the beginning of a real turnaround? Or just early signs? 🤔 #BSNL

🚨Architects are going to hate this. Someone just open sourced a full 3D building editor that runs entirely in your browser. No AutoCAD. No Revit. No $5,000/year licenses. It's called Pascal Editor. Built with React Three Fiber and WebGPU -- meaning it renders directly on your GPU at near-native speed. Here's what's inside this thing: → A full building/level/wall/zone hierarchy you can edit in real time → An ECS-style architecture where every object updates through GPU-powered systems → Zustand state management with full undo/redo built in → Next.js frontend so it deploys as a web app, not a desktop install → Dirty node tracking -- only re-renders what changed, not the whole scene Here's the wildest part: You can stack, explode, or solo individual building levels. Select a zone, drag a wall, reshape a slab -- all in 3D, all in the browser. Architecture firms pay $50K+ per seat for BIM software that does this workflow. This is free. 100% Open Source.

India has officially become the HOTTEST NATION on Earth right now. Yes, all of the world’s 100 hottest cities are in India. And this is happening in the 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆.. Let that sink in. A month meant to remind us of our responsibility towards the planet… has quietly turned into a backdrop for 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱-𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁. Scientists are warning that 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝟱𝟱°𝗖 in the coming years. And yet, there is no national introspection. No meaningful shift in priorities. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱𝘆. ------------------ As 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 often points out, mere information does not bring change. We already know enough. Reports are out. Data is everywhere. What’s missing is intent. What’s missing is love. And that is why 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 becomes essential. Because without inner clarity, even the biggest crises become just another headline. And then no matter how loudly we speak about the problem, nothing really changes.

This is how poor villages are in Germany. Proper roads and marked lanes. Dustbins at every 100 meters. Not a single piece of trash on the road or nearby. The Biggest shock is to see such high level of footpaths in the village.

If you recognize what's happening here, you're part of a generation that also spent endless hours fine-tuning autoexec.bat and config.sys files. And if you're not sure what's going on in the video, I honestly envy your youth.
