Proud to play even a small part in the work of the Texas Library Association. Have a great conference! #txla23 #LibrariesUnite

@QiqoChat @AssociationsNow Yes! It’s one of the reasons we used your platform @QiqoChat for an online event, because it provides real time interaction as well as the ability to wander around and meet people. Good stuff!

Great insights about the future of online communities from @AssociationsNow with @MoiraEdwards! We think this vision happens via integration of live chat, audio rooms, & impromptu video chat with standard forums, plus a regular rhythm of live online events associationsnow.com/article/the-ne…

See everyone tonight at 530pm! AWTC End of the Year Celebration at the Capitol City Brewing Company in DC as we celebrate the amazing women in technology in the association community. See you there! #asaetec21 #assnchat bit.ly/3bdjGvj

And @501WorksLLC kicks off #amsfest with the Spice Girls. We are back in person and loving the energy.

Right now, can you think of three great women working in association technology? If so, nominate them for an award! awtc.tech/awards #assnchat #association

Well, @MoiraEdwards, at least the kids were older by the time COVID drove us all to remote meetings.

Why @rbreeden4 prefers on-site to web conference meetings - no whoopee cushion wielding kids. Enjoying our trip to MSV.

@VZWSupport Except it’s not unexpected or beyond your control. The staff was very nice but looked at the line and said “It’s always like this. We’re the busiest store in Northern Virginia”. This is the ONLY store in 20 miles to return equipment. So thx for apology, now improve your process
English

@JackDempster @Verizon You have to understand that when someone dies, they don’t leave their Verizon pin handy. So this has been a cluster f&&k for the past few weeks. I can’t believe I’m the first person they’ve had to deal with that is managing the accounts of someone that has died.
English

@MoiraEdwards @Verizon Seems like an option to return via mail in Verizon provided boxes would be appropriate. And sorry to hear about your aunt, Moira!
English

@JackDempster @Verizon No boxes, no mention of mail in in any of the calls I’ve had with Fios or when I visited Verizon Wireless about her cellular plan. Just told to visit Fair Oaks mall.
English

@VZWSupport If you allowed equipment return at ANY of the local stores I wouldn’t be here and neither would most of the people in line. But you put it on us. I’m here to return the equipment of my deceased aunt! Because she doesn’t need Fios any more. Me personally, I use Cox. Love them.

@kikilitalien Thank you for doing that on our behalf and bringing us that creativity.
English

Going live with @kikilitalien and @assnchat today at 2pm ET to talk about Mindfulness in Managing Technology Change. A topic I'm very interested in, but this is the first time I've had the opportunity to speak about it. Thanks, KiKi! youtu.be/CM2SB51yZbQ

@ramblinghobo @smccurry3 Oh f**k yes, I had to reign my language in when I got here.
English

@smccurry3 Thank you - yes we do cover how shocked visitors are when they come to Ireland, and the reverse of how we speak abroad is worth an investigation! My sister in DC is much more polite & better spoken! @MoiraEdwards

Holy F*** Ardal O’Hanlon explores Ireland’s great love of bad language. Sunday, May 9th, RTE1, 9.30pm (Warning: this clip is VERY sweary) #HolyF

@maggielmcg You rock for your honesty. Much love ❤️ as you travel your journey.

Sadly I went from languishing to break with reality/hospitalized —thankfully now I’m finding my way back to ok. And hopefully soon, work.

The absence of mental illness doesn't mean the presence of mental health. Even if you're not depressed or burned out, you might be languishing—feeling a sense of emptiness and stagnation. Meh. Naming it is a step toward lighting a path out of the void. nytimes.com/2021/04/19/wel…
