@beautypill The LCDX are great. I ended up with the Focal Clears. They sounded just as good to me, but more comfortable. Checking out the newer high end headphones was a revelation. Couldn’t believe how far they’ve come.

Never bought expensive headphones before. Farthest I’ve ever gone has been the Focal studio headphones (circa $400). I have heard friends/fellow producers raving about Audeze LCDX headphones and I’m curious now. I’m spending more and more time working with headphones.

@sydneygalbraith Yeah, that's where Pro Tools has the advantage. Cant customize much...but it works the same in every room! Even other Reaper users probably wouldn't recognize my setup...it's crazy customized at this point.

@MojitoMastering Yeah everything is customizable in reaper, which is great to a degree, but I’m almost always operating within someone else’s customized sessions so changing things is... discouraged.

Reaper filling the project folder with backup files is kinda clown shoes.
