It's nice to be back at Gradbach Mill for the @ECORISC_CDT year 1 challenge event. The groups are working on projects looking at perfluorinated chemical inputs from airports, pesticide emissions from golf courses, hormone inputs from WWTPs and land use impacts on invertebrates.

The @ECORISC_CDT team have had a lovely afternoon walking to Luds church, Hanging Stone and the Wincle Brewery as part of the year 1 data challenge event at Gradbach.

We discharge lots of chemicals in freshwater on a daily basis. But freshwater is not all the same! Water chemistry might affect the uptake of ionisable compounds in fish by changing the electrical properties of 🐟gills... This is what I try to understand! #HSEAway23 #PhD
