Especially given the structured nature of transfer payments. The wait that is surely going on is that NUFC are stalling whilst they try and buy replacements. Either way, that briefed statement in @ChronicleNUFC sounds a lot like the ‘green light’ LFC have been waiting for. NUFC can’t say both ‘don’t be unsettling our player, he’s not for sale !’ and simultaneously‘hurry up and raise the funds for your bid!’ Those two positions aren’t compatible.
