This one is for the working writers. The ones who grind for hours and hours so they can pay their bills, who come home after eight, ten, twelve hour days and STILL find the space in their tired and weary souls to write a story and chase a dream that feels impossible. I see you.

I just spent an hour and a half writing my letter to be opened in 10 years when I’m 40, and I’m pleased to say that 4,000 words later, it’s ready and waiting

Today is my 30th birthday! And on this day 10 years ago, on my 20th birthday, I wrote a letter to myself to be opened today. It’s finally time to open it 🥳

@michelleziemba I found for me sitting down at the same time of day is good, as is scribbling more words whenever you get a second - they soon add up! But my absolute top top is to sit down to write, turn your WiFi off your computer and put your phone on silent and in another room 👍
