@AlonZivony @VSSMtg In all the bars I’ve worked, standard single pour is 1.5oz, “rocks” or “neat” pour is 2oz, double is 3oz. But “free pour” is… bartender’s choice :)

In the UK, when ordering drinks, a "single" is 1 oz (33ml) and a double is, well... 2 oz. I'm in the US for @VSSMtg and today I learned that in the US, a single is 2 oz and a double is 4. I learned this half way through an unexpectedly very tall glass of mazcal.

I will say it probably helps to have a cover letter, personal statement, and/or CV in the email so they have materials to set you apart from the many other cold emails.

Who can tell me about #facialrecognition in #dogs? My dog seems to have barely any idea where I am when I call him but he can’t see me, including when he can see my body but not my face. Makes sense that when my face is visible he’d be better at it, but interested in the Neuro!

@EdwardVidaurre I looooved being older when returning to school. I loved every minute of every class, I felt like I understood the information quicker and easier, and I was so excited to soak up the knowledge. I also had better coping mechanisms than when I was traditional college age.
