To kick off our persuasive writing unit I planted phones on my students today, and then they had to argue to get them back after they were “caught.”✏️ They were very into it, which, to be fair, I would be too if I was waiting for a text back from Cookie Monster!🍪 #middleschool

I worked w/ my SS colleague to have my students (currently in their #WWII historical fiction unit) write letters as people living through WWII, to folks in the American Revolution. Of course I had to get them the right outfit to deliver the mail in! #teaching #middleschool
