@HMitchell14 I’ve followed Eva’s career since she stepped on the floor at Purdue. Tomorrow she and Lizzie will compete for the ultimate prize. What a joy to see them flourish this season. Go Cats 💙🤍!!!

It's cold and snowy outside.
Rottweiler cuddles and special hot chocolate can warm even a cold heart. ❤️🐾

@CrazyVibes_1 Enjoy every moment with your mom. So awesome at 83 that she is able to help in such a way. My mom passed in September after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Being present in these moments is a gift ❤️

My 83-year-old mother wrapped a large portion of my gifts yesterday, bought me Rain-X to keep my shower door clean, and then folded my daughter's laundry. Somewhere in between, I think she unloaded the dishwasher and sent my other daughter a text wishing her good luck on a final exam.
She's visiting for the holidays, and asked for a few chores to do to keep herself occupied while I finished some work and my daughters ran errands.
I don't want my mom to do anything when she comes to my home; I simply want her to enjoy herself. She's done her time. She's served her family well.
But she keeps asking to help; she keeps buying things for me she thinks will make my life easier or that her granddaughters will like; she keeps telling us stories or asking about our days with interest.
She loves us so hard, so much, so well.
I know there is no greater gift than that. It is not lost on me. I am grateful for every day.
And I know I am the person I am today because of her.
I saw a quote yesterday where someone described another person by saying, "I love being around them because they're what an adult looks like when their parents loved them so well."
What a beautiful sentiment about parenting.
After a tremendously hard and chaotic upbringing, I believe my mother's only goal was to give us a life she never had, to live with some peace, to love us well. It wasn't always perfect, but at 83 years young, she still tries every day to give her kids what she never had.
And loving well is my end-goal, too. So I lean into everything my mom is and take the very best of her into my parenting, leaving just a few things out and then inadvertently adding my own issues to the mix. I'm not perfect, but I try hard every day to give my kids what I think they need, loving them with everything I am every chance I can get.
And this is how we change the world--or at least bring a little more love into it.
Love hard, friends.
It's the only thing that matters.

@kraigbowers34 Hudson, Chicoine, Myers and Carr have found success at their new programs. Purdue formed a new identity and culture for success. Unbelievably it seems to have benefited everyone after such a tumultuous off season.
English

@cheesetrader1 For whatever the reason for departure all 4 players have had success at their new programs. Purdue reloaded and Wollard and Heany have shined. Win win.
English

@LydiaGroteFan Pin hitters are fatigued. Heany hadn’t played for 16 months due to injury and never 6 rotations. Wollard is playing 6 and has probably 3x amount of swings than prior years. Both will be stronger next season.

Sometimes we get asked if our videos are AI.
Nope. It's me & my human in her wheelchair doing most of our videoing. While AI can make some really cute stuff, there's something pretty special about real dogs doing real things.

Admin post:
A little Kuno memory from 2 years ago today (I miss him horribly right now). He'd be reminding us to sniff out the happy stuff.
It's easy to get surrounded by negativity. It's all over the news, and even movies and t.v. shows are riddled with violence. There's depressing memes all over social media and loads of sad music, or even angry songs to listen to. Kuno would be reminding us to consciously use our senses to find things to feel good about. Play the happy upbeat music and howl along with it. Scroll past the politics and stick to puppies and goats and cats and all the cuteness. Turn off the t.v. and pick up a ball or tug toy. Sniff the flowers and absolutely eat the ice cream. The good stuff is out there if you stop and sniff it out.

@TheFlowerShow My mom received a starter of this potted plant in 1962. 3rd generation is now propagating it!

@MyFurryMurray Pill pockets were a bust for us too. We used Tater Tots successfully until he got on to those too 😞

@Bluesmummy My mixed breed dog had a suspected mast cell tumor on his leg. His biopsy showed it was a ameloblastoma tumor. Never heard of it and now twice in a month. Happy tails to our fur babies 🐾🐾❤️❤️
