Update: @wdadswell suggested making Macie cookies with her food. I took rice, ground fish kibble, water and canned meat and rolled it into cookies. Baked at 350F for 17 minutes. Macie ate 4 cookies and wanted more. It's the most she has eaten since Thursday. Thank you ❤️

We couldn't get meds in her yesterday so I called the vet and brought her back in for a shot. Her new food arrived "Vetlife Gastrointestinal HF" by Famina. It's from Italy and fish based Hydrolyzed. She ate it like it was a steak dinner😊 I mixed it with rice 1/3

Update: We took Macie back for another shot of Cerenia. She ate a partial meal tonight and drank lots of water😊 Tomorrow she will get her ultrasound and we'll have some answers tomorrow evening🙏 Thank you all for the love 🫶

pill this morning. She is back to not eating. I am waiting for the vet to call. I think she may have to go in for another shot of cerenia(similar). We decided we are going to get an u/s for her to see what is really going on. I hope we can at least have some answers soon 🙏3/3

@domdyer70 Very true. I’ve cried many tears for dogs & families here that I’ve never met, but I know the pain 🐾🙏

Took Lassie to the vets today for routine injection. A man came to reception to say he had his dog in the back of the car his legs had gone & he would need a vet nurse & stretcher to carry him in to be put to sleep. He just stood there in tears as he waited for vet nurse. As I left the vets I could see his children & partner in tears waiting with dog in back of the car. I left in tears myself, walking Lassie back to my car. Having a dog is such a privilege but saying goodbye is so devastating

Humans are having a tough time getting me to eat due to nausea caused by my IBD Dad took me to the vet this morning. They did a full blood panel + gave me some appetite + nausea pills They just wanted to make sure I wasn't having pancreatitis issues again Bloodwork is good❤️
