I have been asked on two different networks and by two different male hosts today whether abortion rights are as important to women as the economy. I can't say it more clearly: reproductive freedom is economic freedom. They are intrinsically intwined, as every woman knows.

I am not predicting, and I think the result still turns on things we don’t fully know. But it does seem to me that if Harris wins, the story will be that the Rs massively underappreciated the tsunami they unleashed with Dobbs, & its fundamental liberty issue for women of all ages

Why? Largely, Because smoking was largely taken out of movies and TV shows. When you stop making something seem cool and socially acceptable, you can move the needle over time.
