I didn't notice because I chose not to look at her. Was she trying to intimidate me? What is she going to do with her recording of me? 8/5 🤔’s from a Mile High ☀️💜🖤 For many years I’ve used the opportunity for prayer as the Star Spangled Banner is played before a game. Prayers for family and friends. Not for wins-not for shutouts- not for a new contract- etc. Yesterday as I said my prayer it hit me that I can no longer call my Mom the next day to chat. Mom had a major stroke Friday. She was put in Gods hands on Saturday afternoon surrounded by her loving family. I flew home for and was able to sit with her for an hour very early in the morning on Saturday. Karla by my side. She graduated to Heaven at 1:23 pm 8/2/25. 89 years young. Married to my Dad for 69 years. My Mom for 68. She always gave me the same beautiful advice when I called her to “Give it everything I’ve got!” She has told me that for as long as I can remember. Mom left fingerprints on us all and for that I’m eternally grateful.
