This is fantastic advice and something I linked together recently as well.
We now have almost unlimited access to information, a global customer market and a global market for the best labor/minds.
You can build a huge business from your laptop in your local coffee shop. Heck, you can probably do it from your smart phone if you are a real go-getter.
Those who are only focused on the constraints will be left behind by those who, instead, remain focused on the unprecedented opportunity that our generation has right now.
Get to work. Build and maintain momentum. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

"I hate boomers because they were able to buy a house for $40,000 in 1975 & now it's worth $600,000. I'll never have that!!"
Yeah bro, you just have the internet, AI and 10,395 new ways to make insane amounts of money that those boomers didn't have.
Maybe you can't get rich off of real estate. OK? $40K > $600K is $560K in profit... over 50+ years. And that's not factoring in the costs, like taxes, maintenance, interest etc.
You live in an age where you can make $560K in profit in a single YEAR by starting your own business. With internet and artificial intelligence, your options are expansive.
Yes, you unfortunately live in an era of inflation... but also abundance. Yes, you have to earn more, but there are so many more opportunities to do so for those willing to grind.
Stop longing for a world that no longer exists and GET TO FREAKING WORK, young man.

@ScottRoberts Thank you breaking this down so well, Scott! Well written and clear even to the most skeptical critic.

This image confronts us with two of the greatest scandals of Christianity.
The first scandal is that none of us are good enough for heaven.
Most people compare themselves to serial killers, dictators, rapists, and criminals and conclude, "At least I'm not that bad." But God does not compare us to Jeffrey Dahmer. He compares us to His own perfect holiness. Scripture says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The proud businessman, the moral neighbor, the avid atheist, the faithful churchgoer, and the murderer all stand guilty before a holy God apart from Christ.
The second scandal is that God saves anyone at all.
The real question is not, "How could God save someone like Dahmer if he truly repented and believed?" The real question is, "How could God save any of us?" Every person deserves judgment. Every person deserves separation from God. Salvation is never owed. It is never earned. It is pure grace from beginning to end.
That is what makes the gospel so offensive to human pride. It tells the worst sinner that he can be forgiven through Christ, and it tells the best-looking sinner that he cannot save himself.
The cross levels everyone. We are all condemned in Adam, and the only hope for any of us is Jesus Christ.

@TomiLahren This is a good idea. The silent majority needs to speak truth with love.
Silence is giving ground to evil.

All players who object across the league need to do this. Send the message that they don’t want to be a part of this and will not be paraded around like show ponies for an agenda. Doesn’t make them anti-gay, it means they’re there to play baseball not partake in this.

This is incredible! Thank you to ALL the Dads out there doing the hard work of being a father who shows up for and invests in HIS FAMILY!
Don’t believe the lies of what you see all around you in society. Your relationship with your Creator, your wife and your children will be the single highest return on the time invested.
English

@officialsammyuk Thank you for speaking up about this in spite of the efforts to silence you!
This is horrible and the idea that anyone would sacrifice innocent children for political influence is … an abomination.

Too many churches have followed the whims of society. They care more about filling the pews of the building than filling the hearts and souls of their church family.
That sounded really “fundamentalist,” but it was most certainly NOT. There are incredible churches all across America that preach truth AND grace while avoiding legalism.
English

At a bare minimum, biblically qualified church elders should have no problem marking and avoiding:
1. Prosperity Gospel Preachers
2. Progressive Christian Teachers
4. Abusive Pastors
5. False prophets who data mine on social media
6. Nazis
They should be crystal clear on:
1. Abortion
2. Sexuality and Marriage
"For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it." Titus 1:7-9
None of this should be controversial.

Stop playing by the rules of man because it is making you miserable.
Man says:
You need a new car
You need a big house
You need an exciting, post-able vacation
You need a job you love
You need to be upper-middle class
And here is the biggest lie:
You need to be happy
There is nothing wrong with happiness, but if you place that above godliness and contentment you will be miserable.
English

This idea is so embedded into our culture it is hard to see a clear way out of this rut.
I fear God and follow Jesus and even I struggle with wanting and working for earthly status symbols.
It can all be boiled down to respect.
Men see other men respecting the men who have achieved xyz status or drive xyz car/truck. Every man wants respect so he learns to perform in order to earn it.
Christian men need to, instead, begin respecting what is hard to identify without a close relationship.
Do you sacrificially love your wife?
Do you love and lead your children?
Do you pursue Christ above all else?
This should be the gold standard in churches all over the world. But, sadly, the successful men manage to get more attention than the quiet, faithful men.
God, help us to be faithful. No matter the cost.
English

“When America says you can be whatever you want… it really means go grind yourself to death chasing money.”
Tim Dillon broke it down clearly.
People are sold this nonstop hustle, be a boss, build an empire, work yourself into the ground, as the only route to happiness.
The real translation? Exhaust yourself… while someone else relaxes on their boat.
What do you think, are people being sold a fake version of success?

@megbasham @MLB The MLB needs a good boycott after this nonsense. They only respond to financial signals.

There are going to be consequences for @MLB for this kind of religious discrimination. We are not going to tolerate this anymore.

@KristanHawkins How can we get people to understand that life begins at inception?
They have been taught and they believe the lies they parrot: it is an embryo.
English

@MattWalshBlog Without double standards, progressive leftists would have no standards at all.
English

Tells you everything.
Rather than: “let’s make sure many more Americans can become trillionaires”
Instead it’s: “let’s make sure that no other Americans ever reach that level of success.”
These people are parasites. Explicitly opposed to human flourishing. Amazing.

@Alicia_Bittle_ This is an excellent observation! Thank you for partnering with your husband to make this world a better place.
English

If you want to understand men better, just look at all the movies they’ve made, books they’ve written, games they invent when they’re young, and video games they play as adults.
Almost every single one is about a young man being thrust into a position or situation he doesn’t know if he can overcome. Many times he actually believes he can’t, so he initially refuses the challenge. Reluctantly, he is forced out of the comfort of his home by an unlikely group of future friends or an imposing threat on his life or the life of the woman he loves.
In the end, he rises above, he wins, he conquers. He conquers first himself and then he conquers the threat.
Men are made for impossible situations and daring feats. They are born with a heroes heart. This is innate.
I’ve watched it myself in my husband as he figures out how to provide a desirable quality of life for his growing family. I’ve watched as he’s pursued that more and more aggressively over time. And I’m watching it again but in a different way with my son and the games he invents.
This is the heart that society is trying so hard to quash. And women are the ones who can help protect it…

You might be in a tough spot.
You might be hurting.
You might be ready to give up.
It may seem like there is no way out.
It may seem like it is all in vain.
It may seem like nothing will ever change.
Don’t believe the lies.
You were designed and created for a special purpose.
You have value.
You have purpose.
You have worth.
Keep moving forward. Don’t lose hope!

If you could gift your brothers in Christ a superpower for their daily lives, would you give it to them?
Let’s sweeten the deal. If you give them the power to improve everything in their lives you would share that superpower with them.
What is this superpower, you ask?
It’s not a nuke, it’s not Excalibur and it’s not the shield of Captain America.
The super power is accountability.
Think about how much better you would perform if your closest friends were watching you all day long.
Think about how much more productive and efficient you would become.
Think about how many fewer times you would linger too long on images you should not be looking at.
Think about how much better you would treat your wife and children.
Accountability with trusted brothers in Christ can make a dramatic improvement in nearly every area of your lives.
