@AceParty Acolyte was pretty good, I'm sad it didn't get a second season. Really looking forward to Academy, though I worry it's going to be an angsty drama like Gen V, than an actually good sci-fi.

Looks like that #StarfleetAcademy is becoming for Star Trek what was The Acolyte for Star Wars. Personally, I didn't watch any SW stuff since The Acolyte.

@TheFamilyPlayz @XXIV_Concept 100% the game is not a looter shooter game, its a space sim, and that includes allowing players the freedom to shoot other players, but not freedom from consequences. PvP outside of specific situations should be generally discouraged

The most important aspect should be that pirates or griefers face serious consequences when they attack or kill other players. Something like immediately receiving a very high crimestat and triggering NPC security forces to spawn. In real life, everything has consequences after all. Therefore, there should be equally severe consequences in the game, otherwise only PvE players will be harassed.

Gear in Star Citizen should be like your ship. Insurable. Varying levels. Fully lootable on death, fully recoverable through claims. One-off or rare items should not be claimable and thus risky to have or carry. Pledged items are insured by default and recoverable for free.

Word is that the Paladin is making its way into the next patch. Star Citizen is having a record breaking year and this will be another hot seller.

@Morphologis @RobertsSpaceInd They used to have a plan where your AI crew on multi crew ships could be taken over for the duration of a session, it was a cool idea that solves joining a large ship that you perhaps missed departure of - that's now 6 or 7 systems away.

How could Star Citizen cut down on the downtime when getting a group session going? A fast travel system or a start location reset with a cooldown might be a great QoL improvement. Might cut that 1 hour minimum spool up to 30 minutes. @RobertsSpaceInd

@BeckyOnBlast my only wish for the valkyrie is a heavy cargo dropship, I don't have many people to drop, but I can and would do combat drops of heavy equipment or vehicles.

@ForScienceSC feels like a knee-jerk reaction perhaps to the accusations that they're making SC into space-RUST/Tarkov. Which it feels like they are with how CitCon and the more recent patches have been presented, but I want to see some kind of middleground.

I feel like many people aren't realizing how much this changes. If the risk of loss is gone, then what's the game exactly??? No need for caution OR tactics. Just run and gun like every other cheesey game.
