You are here on Twitter, and sometime later next week you will be arguing with someone who is shocked that the Minister of Defense is a member of a political party. They are shocked that a minister is a politician. You go to bed, sleep comfortably, wake up, brush up, clean up, even use different facial treatments, dress nice, spray perfumes that’d make Arabs jealous, carry your expensive phone and start arguing with losers who are shocked that a minister, not an Army Chief, is a politician. They maybe losers for never not understanding the most basic elements of government and how things work whilst choosing to amplify their ignorance at every turn, but you are a shadow loser for indulging in their foolish games. The only good bit here is, at least you are redeemable. You can retrace your steps by allocating your time and energy better. Because time and energy, once lost, can never be recreated.

As a critical observer and one who pays good attention to details, this short clip might be the best moment for me throughout the entire #APCNationalConvention2026 as it sends a strong message, especially to those who are hell bent on spreading the propaganda of a "Non-Existent" rancour between the President and his Vice. Though short and not entirely focused on the duo, if you observe keenly, you would notice the President as he sat and arranged his convention agbada, went ahead to touch or feel that of his Vice, said a few words jokingly, with the Vice making the same gesture. In my head, I could automatically assume the conversation to have possibly gone this way; President @officialABAT: VP, it looks like your ankara is more quality than mine ooo (smiles aesthetically 😀) VP @officialSKSM: Your Excellency, ai it is the same material, just different tailor (Both laughs 😃) This moment was not pre-planned, neither was it rehearsed which is why it wasn't captured with the camera fully focused on them throughout that moment. It was a pure moment of jovial communication that can only happen between two very good friends and allies. To all of you waiting for the collapse of this FORMIDABLE TEAM, may you forever wait! Yesterday I saw the APC and President Bola Tinubu complete the final turn, the most difficult stretch on the track, as they race toward the last straight to the finish line. It was President Bola Tinubu representing the APC’s charge. Vice President Kashim Shettima, decked in a resplendent agbada, approaching the line with him. I tried to look behind the APC duo leading the race to see who their competitors are, it was interesting to see they are still debating who to lead the charge against the men who are just about to close the race. So far, it’s Team Bola Tinubu alone on the track, in what appears to be a procession. It’s a tough place for the opposition to be. I see why a lot of big wigs in the opposition are looking past 2027 and simply playing a perfunctory part for their party in the Bola Tinubu/APC 2027 procession. I also understand the loud tears online, even when some deny the real reason for theirs. They have given up on competing. They are like fans of clubs who are out of the title race in September, they will distract themselves with anything that’d help them forget the coming pain of a big loss when the inevitable winner is decided. Dem go wan make them ban football sef. Anything but a desire to see the fat lady sing. But the fat lady will. Arsenal aren’t in a procession like Tinubu, but we will clinch this one. You will blame corners and pretend that dominance is a crime but you will witness your fears become reality. Acceptance is a balm. Get acquainted with it.

The bond between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President @KashimSM Shettima is truly remarkable. Just look at how President Tinubu carefully adjusts Vice-President Shettima’s attire, making sure he looks his best. Dear evil Tunde Ednut, It is @ubifranklin1 constitutional right to support APC, especially as a member. What you’re doing comes across as direct bullying and an attempt to incite people against him. You have other friends that are Apc members that have supported you. Remember you told me to stop talking about politician. You collected 1million to post for tinubu 2020. You live in America, where freedom of political choice is respected and protected. Yet you are here influencing and stirring emotions among Nigerians—many of whom genuinely trust your voice—while benefiting from the same system you criticize. Why push narratives that divide and mislead? Why gaslight the masses against individuals simply for exercising their rights? Can you honestly say you’ve never benefited from any political affiliation or support in the past? It’s time to stop this pattern. Support Peter Obi in peace, and allow others to support Tinubu in peace. Respect should go both ways.
