Personally, I wouldn't mind a resurrected Ben Solo retrieving either the Skywalker lightsaber or Leia's lightsaber from Tatooine. I like to think of the sabers as important heirlooms. But I wonder if most fans would consider that a dumb retcon, akin to reversing TROS's ending?

@retneysholocron Imagine if Din & Grogu had been separated for season 3 and they were reunited in the new movie. A movie that brings back “Baby Yoda” AND Luke Skywalker - It would be the cinematic event of the year. Instead, most people have no idea there’s a movie coming.

The worst mistake Lucasfilm made was shoving so many important parts of The Mandalorian's story into TBOBF. If you didn't watch, you'd go into TM S3 with no context for why Grogu is back, and you missed Din training with the Darksaber and building the N-1.
