In Australia, diagnoses requires 5+ hours of interviews (broken up into smaller units), GP consultation, psychiatrist consult, family interview & a diagnosis of hyperactivity to start medication.

@PatMcGorry @GetTheFabulous Doesn’t matter if it’s self diagnosed. Any doc will tell you that you’re ADHD if you answer questions correctly. They confirm your bias and then hand you dangerous pills. Then, people walk around sucking and blame it on their ADHD.
