That isn’t fair.

Frieren S2 - 5/10 Quite disappointed with this season tbh, There wasn't anything really going on except Hero of the south & the demon fight. The group wasn't nearly interesting enough for such character driven approach. The himmel fb spams doesn't help either,a sleeper to the end

@xxrat_punkxx @kupoccino bc kenji muto left the project. he had a story planned for 3 seasons of content and was only given 1 more. the budget issues didn’t affect the shows actual production or paying staff, just stampedes poor reception financially made a s3 a bad decision for the studio to invest in

it’s really sad to basically now have confirmation orange didn’t get the amount of episodes they hoped to tell the story. i still think they could’ve utilised the 12 eps better than they did but i still feel bad it obviously didn’t go to plan

@kupoccino at sakuracon 2 years ago orange made an announcement that there were 3 seasons planned and a 3rd season being released was dependent on how successful stampede was. stampede wasn’t a big enough success so they denied the staff a season 3 and did a staff overhaul

@MondayMonke do you know where it was said a 3rd season was denied? is it in that same interview? ive only seen a snippet and am yet to read it fully, im intrigued by this info lmao

@xxrat_punkxx @kupoccino because there was a almost complete staff overhaul. stampedes director had a vision for the whole story but the new director didn’t have the same vision. not to mention the constant rewrites since a 3rd season was denied

@kupoccino arcane was only 9 episodes and they did a phenomenal job. episode count is never an excuse, if they knew they were gonn have to settle with this episode count as well then why adapt a 14+ volume series? why spend the first season not going over the main story? it makes no sense
