After a chaotic morning in the Strait of Hormuz, both sides have gone completely quiet. Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz again and President Trump said he won't be "blackmailed" by Iran. As of Friday, markets were expecting the US and Iran to meet for the second time on Sunday. As of right now, there is no meeting planned and the ceasefire ends in 3 days. We continue to believe that both sides will ultimately work toward a deal, as this pre-deal turbulence has been observed many times in previous conflicts involving President Trump. US stock market futures open in 24 hours and both sides know this. All signs point to a highly eventful Sunday ahead.
