No mention of Democrats killing the pipelines to New England and of course CBS tries to put this on Trump. The facts ignored is that US shipbuilders haven't produced tankers or freighters in decades and Democrats have killed two pipelines to the region.

Oh, look. Even when RI's truck toll program starts again next year, all of the toll revenue STILL won't go to infrastructure.

@ValerieJeanP @MoniqAR WRONG,,none of the natural gas in New England gets here by pipeline. It arrives by tanker as LNG and then turned back into gas and then put in the New England pipeline and distributed threw out New England

@MoniqAR Massachusetts should be a warning, not a roadmap. You can’t keep raising taxes on high earners and act shocked when income, investment, and taxpayers leave. Rhode Island already struggles with affordability. We should be growing the base, not driving it out.

This is a huge red flag for the governor of Rhode Island and the legislators who want to increase the state's income tax rate on upper brackets. How much would RI lose in tax revenue if they do so?

Massachusetts approved a millionaire tax of an extra 4% of income above $1 million in 2022. This is in addition to the 5% state income tax everyone pays. So the wealthy in that state pay 9% on top of their federal income taxes of 37%. As a result, they are moving to New Hampshire, Florida and other states with no state income taxes
