Leaving forests unmanaged only leads to more fuel, more fires, and more damage. It is time to stop the politics and manage our federal forests the right way. I will be the congresswoman who convinces stakeholders to finally do the work to deliver healthy forests. #or04

Active forest management works. I saw this first hand during a recent timber operation tour outside Roseburg. When we responsibly harvest, we reduce wildfire risk, keep our forests healthy, and protect our communities.

What you see behind me is costing lives and millions in taxpayer dollars. The problems of homelessness, addiction, and mental illness remain completely unaddressed. Where is our money going?

I’m standing in Eugene, Oregon — a city with the highest homelessness rate per capita in the United States. While Congresswoman Val Hoyle has accumulated extraordinary wealth during her three years in Congress, the neighborhoods she represents have fallen deeper into crisis.

This afternoon, I paused to visit the stunning Willamette Valley Temple of the Church of Latter-day Saints in Springfield. I feel honored to have experienced the VIP tour of this beautiful sacred place before it is dedicated on June 7th.  What an amazing addition to #or04!

Spring is a time for new growth, and Oregon’s small businesses should be leading the way. Overregulation, high taxes, and rising costs are holding them back. I will fight to cut red tape, support entrepreneurs, and grow local jobs When small businesses thrive, Oregon thrives.

I am running to bring that leadership to Oregon to ensure our law-enforcement officers have the tools, resources, and backing they need to keep our communities safe. Thank you for your service - and know that I will always stand with you. #or04

Despite limited resources, these officers show up 24/7 and do the job. They deserve more support - not more obstacles. Public safety isn’t optional it requires strong, leadership, clear priorities and real cooperation across local state and federal law-enforcement.

Shout out to Captain Perry and the entire North Bend Police Department for standing on the front lines every day to protect our community.

Oregonians deserve to feel safe in their own communities. I am committed to restoring law and order by backing law enforcement, enforcing the law and prioritizing safe neighborhoods. Safety is not partisan, it’s fundamental.

They’ve stood by us. It’s time we stood up for them. In Congress, I will fight for common sense policies that protect and strength and small businesses - so they can keep serving our communities creating jobs and preserving the character of the place we call home. #or04

But right now they are being pushed to the brink - crushed by high taxes, excessive regulations and the constraint of dealing with homelessness, addiction, and untreated mental illness. If we don’t act, we risk losing the very businesses that hold our communities together.

Small businesses are the heart and soul of North Bend and Coos bay - family run community-rooted, and essential to our way of life. What would our communities do without the Golder family NAPA Auto Parts store? These are the businesses that show up for us every single day.

We need policies that support success - not punish it - and a government that helps us create good jobs, strong schools, and safe neighborhoods. It’s time to get back to basics.

Small business owners are being asked to carry a burden that government has failed to address. I intend to bring common sense leadership to Oregon and to take our voices to Washington DC.

I met with community members at iconic Engles furniture store in North Bend right in the Stressless Chair section - to talk about the real challenges small business owners are facing.
