@gurkarn_gill Panthic Universalism >> At least ethnicity means something in terms of having a cohesive stream of culture. Nationalities are the most arbitrary.

One of the strangest realizations about the history of civilization is that every increment takes place on the same of scale of phenomena that you and I occupy. Coronations happen in human-scale throne rooms occupied by human-scale people with human-scale cognition.

@ThethPanjabi This darbar is cold, corporate, and empty. If you added enough chairs it would look like an airport lounge.

@gurkarn_gill 🎯. The heated debate in the panth these days is an intentional distraction.

Michael Jacksons creative process was driven by an intense fear that if he did not immediately act on an idea, it would be given to his rival, Prince. So, the second an idea popped into his mind, he would instantly action it. On the surface this might seem like he was acting out of some weird insecurity but the truth is more simple. Michael Jackson understood that the universe brings you ideas at random. If an idea spawns into your mind from the 'ether' or your 'intuition' or 'god' (whatever you wanna call it) - chances are, you aren't the only one who received that message. So the only thing that separates you is how fast you execute on that idea

To the young Tāne who performed a haka in front of a Sikh temple to protest against their non-Christian beliefs, Allow me to enlighten you about your own forebears, who were not Christian when they arrived in this land around 1250 A.D. They believed in Polynesian mythology, with multiple gods like Tangaroa, Maui, Rangi, and Papa. They had absolutely no idea who Jesus Christ was—for 650 years—until the first Christian missionary arrived in 1815. Would you perform a haka against your own forebears, who invented the haka, because they didn’t believe in Christianity? Would you persecute them because they were not as “enlightened” as you? Would Jesus Christ persecute non-Christians when he himself was not a Christian, but a Jewish rabbi? The entire basis of Christianity is to love your enemy—not to persecute them, not to single them out and show aggression toward them. The people who practice Sikhism have been persecuted by Muslims and conquered by the Christian British Empire for centuries, only to come to this country and be persecuted by you, so-called Christians. The religion of ultra-nationalism, hate and persecution is Satanism. Christianity is a faith based on tolerance and love thy neighbour. A religion where you don’t bully others because they don’t share your beliefs—that is the true faith of Christianity.

As you grow up, you begin to realise how many people are just winging it. You’ll be surprised by how little they know or do. You’ll almost be disappointed by how easy it was all along. You realise how many of your fears and self-limiting beliefs were completely fake and made up.

Nothing is born that does not first move. this is the law. the mother cannot push what will not kick. God cannot deliver the still. and you have been waiting in the dark asking *when* but when is not a time, when is a decision. The child chooses. The passage opens for the one who moves toward it. You think you are trapped but you are only motionless. You think the door is locked but your hands are in your pockets. The birth canal is not a gift it is a war and the first war is the war to begin. move and the world moves. stay still and the womb becomes a coffin with a heartbeat. the child can only be born when the movement begins. So begin. So begin. no one is coming to carry you out. You will crawl toward air or you will not breathe

The mass of people have the rule backwards. Truth is this: Talk before you win, hype yourself up in the pursuit early –– never afterwards. Life punishes front runners. Something inherently cowardly and weasley about it. No competitive person respects the opponent that only finds the confidence to talk when they're already so far ahead. Victory quiets the habitual winner. To those with self-respect, a genuine victory for you means it's too late to start chirping. No thrill in talking when you're comfortable and the game is over. The only respectable trash talk happens when you're talking from behind. Often it's sensible to stay quiet, put your head down, and get to work, but sometimes you need the excitement of stating your target openly, then walking it down. Doesn't matter how far behind you start and how much they dislike you Competitive thrill is in the fact you stated what you were going to do clearly – and not a single one of them could do anything about it.
