Today marks six months without drinking a drop of alcohol of any kind! Six months of eating seven fruit and vegetables a day, drinking 10 glasses of water, no carbs and no red meat, plus at least 8 hours of sleep a night. The change in my body has been fantastic! I feel great, I lost weight and my way of thinking is very positive! I'm looking to keep this up until I die. No alcohol, eat only healthy foods, getting lots of sleep and above all, an hour of exercise every day! To be honest, I don't know whose status this is, but I was so happy for them, I copied and pasted it!!

On this day 13 years ago, my only son was sworn in to the US Army. In ten days, it will be 12 years since he was killed in Afghanistan 2 weeks before he was due to come home. He was just 21. This week is also Memorial Day. My greatest fear now is that he will be forgotten. Please help me remember my boy during this tough week of special dates (share if you feel inspired. 🤣 Damn rescue I was trying to rehome! 10 month old Pitt, named him Noodle! (long story about the rescue part). He and my two other dogs, Conan (Pitt) and Bonkers (Rat Terrier) saved me from a sexual preditor/druggie (another long story!) Noodle was actually chosen by a major dog food company in their ads, and was quickly adopted by a family in California.
