Do you prescribe or take inhalers? Did you know some inhalers contain hydrofluoroalkanes which are very potent green houses gases (much more than CO2). They are responsible for about 4% of the greenhouse gas impact from health care. Excellent article in the BC medical journal. Know what you are prescribing and/or what you are taking and ask for equally effective alternatives that aren’t contributing to climate change. So many of us use ventolin and atrovent when combivent is the same two molecules without a climate impact. Costs you less $ too.
