Good luck to Stanisic and Phillis for this opportunity, but Adelaide United's decision to enter this campaign with just 2 senior central defenders after a league-worst defensive output last year needs to be studied. Players like this should be supported by experienced partners.

@iammusie @Pagonis98 Unfortunately no WNPL coaches looked at. Seems the men’s game is the only place it’s looked at even if that means looking in the 2nd division ahead of WNPL coaches.

Definitely a left-field choice, but a quality coach with a proven track record who gets a long overdue opportunity.
