@citchmook Wouldn’t mind them splitting this series to keep Wedgie fresh for the harder rounds
English

@citchmook This is truly not even a question! It is Wedgewood’s net to lose.

@Moody5 @citchmook when was the last time y'all beat us when it mattered!?!
RENT FREE!

I don't know what the hell happened to Mikko Rantanen since leaving Denver but this isn't the player i used to watch in Colorado. Goes from Landeskog to Benn as a captain and completely loses all control. Shameful.
Isles Rumor@IslesRumor
Mikko Rantanen will likely miss the Islanders Stars game on thursday but will play on saturday in Pittsburgh. Convinent timing if you ask me, sure feels like a business decision to avoid being held accountable for his actions earlier in the year. #Isles

@citchmook lol, other than the fact the stars live RENT FREE in your head...what do you care!?!
As a stars fan I could care less about any of your players injury status.
In a 7 game series it never matters, we always beat y'all anyway.

@HilderCo08 @ryanwhitney6 One of the world’s best skaters, he would have got out of the way. How much Mack do you watch - not much obviously.
English

@ryanwhitney6 He was full speed in the blue paint. He wasn’t getting out no matter what. Whether or not nurse was there. He tried jumping straight up. I think it’s the right call.
English

@RussoHockey Life?! He is a kid, see case law Todd Bertuzzi. This kid should be done for the year, but life - come on. He will learn from this. Is this the same as this? youtu.be/9yxMbWlnWV8?si…

@Mike_Duffin @PaigeSpiranac I literally was crying I was laughing so hard!

@Cutterthecaddie If he can play, he has character - if he can’t he has no sense of fashion.

@shindig101 @ChrisNowinski1 So are you a medical trainer or an Athletic Trainer? Just have never heard the term medical trainer.
English

Update: Anthony Stolarz likely suffered a first #comcussion 5 minutes into the game when he took a puck to face that knocked his mask off.
25 seconds after the hit he did a SHAAKE (Spontaneous Headshake after a Kinematic Event) which predicts concussion 72% of the time.
Chris Nowinski, Ph.D.@ChrisNowinski1
When I initially posted on Anthony Stolarz I didn't know they initially left him in for more than two minutes until he started vomiting on the bench. We need to do better. PSA: If you vomit multiple times after a brain injury, get to the emergency room.
English

@Moody5 @ChrisNowinski1 Oh and also have been the medical trainer on the bench for various years treating hockey injuries.
English

@Moody5 @ChrisNowinski1 No you arent or else you would know this. This is extremely common knowledge.
English

@shindig101 @ChrisNowinski1 I am around it every day, I don’t need to Google it.
English

@Moody5 @ChrisNowinski1 Go research it. You dont have to be medically trained with degrees like me to know this. This is pretty common knowledge. Im sure a simple google search will teach you what you need to know.
English

@shindig101 @ChrisNowinski1 I will wait for you to post the peer review document.
English

@Moody5 @ChrisNowinski1 Wrong. The thinner part of the skull makes it much more vulnerable to impact.
English

@shindig101 @ChrisNowinski1 I agree it is a typical goalie tic. However, a concussion is caused by the brain moving in the skull - softest part of the head has no correlation. It is all about the force received.
English

Extremely unlikely the puck causes the concussion. Location doesnt make sense. No rattle effect. As a concussion expert you should know the skull is the softest on the side of the head where he took the elbow from Bennett. Also, caught part of the neck which is another impact point for concussions.
The head shake Stolarz does it a reaction all goalies do when the helmet is removed.
