I worked at the SOEC in Penticton as a Zamboni Driver and the few times I've seen your team they have been nothing but amazing, keeping the rooms clean, always respectful, would always ask if they needed something. Keep doing what you're doing!

@sports_beatNICK Where was this outrage when the USHL takes players from our league, or at the beginning of the season when Brooks signed a handful of BCHL players? You might not like the system, but there has never been more freedom of choice for players.

The BCHL are acting like thieves. Just take what you want with no consequences. The top talent in the CJHL will leave. You either change or watch your leagues and teams get raided. Yesterday Nipawin, today Drumheller. Who’s next?

For record I spent five years in Victoria, I’d watch BCHL showcases and then go watch the WHL, it was like the game was in fast forward.

Starting next season five teams; Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park, Brooks, Blackfalds and Okotoks will be merging with BCHL teams. I’m curious if more join or what the AJHL will do? At some point Hockey Canada will need to work with these other leagues rather than against them.

@Moogy43 @ItsPaulNeumann @JasonGregor The BCHL ain’t creating a Tier 1 League with the Langleys, Merritts, Cranbrooks still in it. One of them is going to Nisku. Just be even more watered down.

Hearing the AJHL has decided to cancel some games tonight. They have cancelled the Olds/Blackfalds and Brooks/Drayton Valley. Likely because Blackfalds and Brooks are joining BCHL next year. Seems rather petty.

Until they pay big money to get 8-10 American Kids on every team, only reason BCHL gets Talent is they give $40,000+ cash a year to kids to not go USHL or WHL. They’re a JOKE. @JasonGregor @ShaneACarter77 BCHL is beyond shady. They pay their kids under the table cash to recruit them away from CHL/USHL. NCAA should have cracked down on BCHL a decade ago.

@Pete___Hughes @ItsPaulNeumann @JasonGregor as someone who worked alongside the penticton vees for 5 years and a good relationship with the HC and billets, i can confirm the players do not get paid anything as most of the teams cant afford to pay players. but go ahead and keep telling us you're a scout who knows all 😂

@ItsPaulNeumann @JasonGregor BCHL is kicking out smaller franchises. They’re trying to compete with the USHL and create a Super Tier 1 League. Which they’ll never be they only get kids because they pay them cash under the table $40,000+. WHL has better Scholarship. USHL Produces 3x the talent as the BCHL.
