The problem is that was a freak occurance. Nowadays we seem to be breaking temperature records almost every year. It is a clear pattern. In the last 15 years, 6 months out of the 12 have had record temperatures. This is since records began in the UK in 1880. So in 140 years of recgular daily recordings, the hottest recorded months have all been recorded in the last 15 years. 4 of which in the last 7 years. And on monday, that May temperature is going to be broken so that will make 7 moonths with record braking temperature in UK in the last 15 years

@PGDynes The uk record for May is 32.8° in 1922. Was there climate change then as well?

Large parts of the UK/France are forecast to be around 12°C above average. Places like London could reach 35°C with UHI and it’s still May. The UK Climate Committee has warned that 40°C summers are now on the horizon. The climate is changing faster than systems are prepared for.

Yes, The landing was planned and showed it could land upright, the falling over and exploding is because its not really designed to do that and is constructed at the limits of its materials, so falling over, although looks slow, is pretty major for something the size of a large tower, with lots of explosive fuel still. It was a successful test of V3

To see light from the sun it either needs to go directly into your eye, or reflect off something then into your eye. There is basically nothing in space, so there is nothing to reflect off except other planets and moons(thats why we see them) When it reaches the earths atmostphere, it reflets off the billions of particles in the atmostphere, a lot of it is absorbed, but some blue light is reflected, thats why we see the sky as blue. Anything that reaches the ground is also absorbed and reflected. Thats why we see green grass, as grass doesnt absorb part of the spectrum light, so it reflects back into your eye for your brain to see as "green"

@sama Disease, I want AI to eliminate 99.9999% of diseases. So we either die from accidents or from simply old age. (or be able to choose our death date if we are of sound mind but of poor physical health)

@TheWhizzAI To be honest, I dont think a billion dollar models main objective is to create backflip videos

Google spent billions of dollars on Gemini Omni. It still can't make a person do a backflip. I tested it → Asked Gemini to generate a backflip → Physics was broken → Body looked wrong → Tried 3 times. Same result. A billion-dollar model. One simple move. Still failing. Don't trust the hype. Test everything yourself. Bookmark this. Comment on your worst AI fail.

Great visit with the team at Boeing Phantom Works in St. Louis to talk about the future of aeronautics and the technologies that will shape the next generation of flight. Advancing aeronautics means taking on hard problems, pushing technology forward, and building strong partnerships across government and industry. Excited about what’s ahead.

@elonmusk @techdevnotes You offered an upgrade to a plan with higher limites, it was supergrok, which I upgraded to, and the first generation today I got "imagine is under heavy load right now, try again later"

@historyinmemes not true, the longest walk is the walk home from the pub at 11:30pm when you told your wife you were only going in for a couple after work beers with your mates.

The longest road in the world that a person can walk... The longest theoretically walkable road on Earth stretches from Cape Town to Magadan, spanning roughly 22,387 km (13,910 miles) without the need for any boat or air travel. The route passes through about 17 countries, crossing Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and into Siberia via connected roads and bridges. Even at an ambitious pace of 12 hours of walking per day, the journey would take around a year to complete. At a more moderate schedule of 8 hours per day, it would extend to roughly a year and a half of continuous travel.
