@BrianWolfe41778 @YankeesParm Pitchers mess with hitter and quick pitch. Or I've seen pitchers delay their action for hitters with big early leg kicks to put them off balance. Nolan Ryan used intimidation tactics to get a psychological edge. Why is cabby doing this a problem for any fan of baseball?

I'll be honest I fucking loves Cabby's gamesmanship. The batter/pitcher cat and mouse is an awesome part of the game. It's mental fuckery. This is no different than Nolan Ryan trying to intimidate hitters or Moonlight Graham winking at a pitcher in Field of Dreams.

@MoonlightMLB You’re not wrong. And many, many many minor league players from years gone by made that exact choice. All I’m saying, compared to how it was even 10 years ago is a major improvement. They used to have to figure out housing and food for even less during the season

@Xaintreally Still tough cause now you need to work a seasonal job in the offseason while keeping your training and development. If you're a college senior, get a $20k bonus it's hard to make a living playing minor league ball for 5 years while thinking about starting a fam.
