@uwukko Funny how things go. They try to "mock" Firefox when without Firefox, we'd most likely never have had the start of more secure and privacy oriented browsers to begin with. Selling a version of your browser because of the bloat you have and mocking others because of bloat is wild.

A fresh Brave install in 2026: sponsored ad wallpapers on new tab page by default (opt out). Brave VPN, News, Talk, Leo (AI), Rewards and other revenue-milking bloat is advertised/pinned by default. Analytics and "phoning home" by default. Google as default search engine in most regions by default. Sponsored search engines like Russian Yandex in CIS countries by default: github.com/brave/brave-co… Brave has an ad branch that handles advertising within the browser: brave.com/ads. Brave does on-device ad targeting based on cohorts and interests, just like what Chrome used to do and what Google was largely hated for (remember FLoC?). This applies to additional (opt-in) rewarded ads, shipped as part of Brave. Brave has injected referral IDs to crypto-related URLs entered into the omnibox in the past, intentionally, by design: x.com/CR1337/status/… github.com/brave/brave-br… reddit.com/r/privacytools… Brave also uses dark patterns to drive users away from turning off ads in their browser. For example, an article linked from the "opt out" button in the browser has a wall of text making excuses for ads before the actual steps needed to be taken to disable them: support.brave.app/hc/en-us/artic… kind of hypocritical for brave to judge firefox for lesser bullshit, don't you think?

i opened microsoft edge and it pinned itself to the start of the dock without a prompt or consent running into big tech malware like this makes me appreciate what we do with helium even more

Here's some of the DLSS 5 material we saw in the demos but didn't get a chance to film. Here I think you can see the strengths of DLSS 5 - reflections become much more attractive. Starfield doesn't have great lighting to begin with, so the differences can be profound.

For all those who think it’s some amazing feat to make shots at 150-200 yards, this is me hitting head shots on a 3/4 size steel target with a 7.62x39 rifle and a 6x scope at roughly 165 yards. It’s no magic feat. @Brushbeater @DolioJ @4nt1p4tt3rn

It works out of the box, it's not a specific distro, it's a DE(Desktop Environment) meaning you can install it even if your distro for some reason doesn't come with it. FSR4 is a Steam launch command. It's not that hard.

@CyrustheFren @dbz_fan111 @ShitpostRock This isn't even true anymore either. Newest version of KDE Plasma has native HDR support with full calibration OOTB. Hyprland and Cosmic also support HDR. Like you said, this isn't 2005 anymore.
